The invention relates to a bleach catalyst granules containing a metal-containing bleach catalyst, which comprises at least one ligand selected from the group comprising di- or trimethyltriazcyclononanes or derivatives therefrom, and a homo- or copolymer polycarboxylate, salts thereof or partially neutralized having a pH-value of between 3 and 9. Said granules are produced in an anhydrous granulation process, in particular by compacting, the treatment temperature being maintained at below 100&#xb0; C.

Bleach catalyst granules, use thereof and washing cleaning agents containing the same

The invention relates to a bleaching-agent co-granule containing a bleach activator, a metal-containing bleach catalyst comprising at least one ligand from the group consisting of di- or trimethyltriazacyclononane and derivatives of these, and a homo- or copolymeric polycarboxylate or its salts or partial neutralizates having a pH in the range from 3 to 9. The bleaching-agent co-granule is obtained in an anhydrous granulating process, preferably by compaction at a temperature below 100&#xb0; C. The invention also relates to the method of using the bleaching-agent co-granule in dishwasher detergents and to a detergent comprising said bleaching-agent co-granule.

Bleaching-agent co-granules, method for producing said bleaching-agent co-granules, and use of said bleaching-agent co-granules

The invention relates to a method for producing manganese complex compounds of the general formula (1), wherein M, X, L, z, Y and q are defined as in claim. The method is characterized by the following steps: a) reacting one or more bivalent metal salts with the ligand L in water as the solvent to form a coordination compound from the one or more bivalent metal salt and the ligand L, the one or more bivalent metal salts being selected from bivalent manganese salts and iron salts and at least one bivalent metal salt being a bivalent manganese salt, b) oxidizing the coordination compound of step a) with an oxidant while at the same time maintaining a pH of 11 to 14, to transform the metal M from the bivalent to the trivalent and/or tetravalent form, c) reducing the pH of the reaction mixture to a pH of 4 to 9 and removing any metal oxides or metal hydroxides of the metal M formed and d) adding, at a pH of 4 to 9, a salt of the formula MezYq, wherein Me represents an alkali metal ion, ammonium ion or an alkanol ammonium ion, and Y, z and q are defined as in formula (1).

Use of manganese oxalates as bleach catalysts

The invention relates to compounds in solid form, containing a) one or more manganese complex compounds of the general formula (1), where M is independently selected from manganese in the III or IV oxidation state, X is independently a co-ordinating or bridging species selected from HO, O, O, O, OH, HO, SH, S, SO, Cl, N, SCN, N, RCOO, NHand NR, where R is a radical selected from H, alkyl and aryl, L are independently organic ligands, each of which contains at least two nitrogen atoms co-ordinated on manganese, z is an integer from &#x2212;4 to +4, Y is a monovalent or multivalent counter-ion selected from chloride, sulphate, hydrogen sulphate, nitrate and acetate, which leads to charge neutrality of the complex, and q is an integer from 1 to 4, and b) one or more salts of the general formula R'&#x2014;CH&#x2014;SOMe, where R&#x2032; is CHor CHand denotes Me, Na, K, Ca or Mg, characterized in that the molar ratio of the manganese complex compound of the general formula (1) to salt of the general formula R&#x2032;&#x2014;CH&#x2014;SOMe is 1:0.5 to 1:5. The invention also describes a method for producing the compounds and to the use thereof as oxidation catalysts or bleach catalysts, in particular in detergents or cleaning agents.
