A wastewater-lifting system and a method for operating a wastewater-lifting system guides wastewater loaded with bulky materials into a bulky material collection tank having at least one separating screen. During intake of wastewater, the bulky materials are retained in the bulky material collection tank and pre-cleaned wastewater passes into a liquid collection tank via a connection line and one or both of a pump and a bypass line connected to the connection line. During the wastewater intake a pivoting flap in the connection line closes flow to the pump except for a flushing cross section, and opens the bypass line. During a pumping operation, the pivoting flap opens the connection line from the pump and closes the bypass line.

Method for operating a wastewater-lifting system

A wastewater-lifting system includes at least one bulky material-collection tank with at least one separating screen arranged in its interior for retaining bulky materials in wastewater loaded with bulky materials passing through the bulky material-collection tank. The system also includes at least one pump connected to the bulky material collection tank via at least one connection line. The separating screen may be removed from and reinserted into the bulky material collection tank predominantly vertically through a closable opening, guided by an inner guide in the bulky material collection tank.

Wastewater-lifting system

A method for setting up a wastewater pumping station in a wastewater shaft and a wastewater pumping station are provided. At least one solids-collecting tank which separates solids from wastewater containing solids, a liquids-collecting tank which received the treated wastewater from the at least one solids collecting tank, and a pump for emptying wastewater from the liquids-collecting tank via the solids-collecting tank, are produced as separate subassemblies. At least the solids-collecting tank and the pump are prefabricated in the form of a construction unit, and the construction unit is combined with the already on-site liquids-collecting tank during installation in the likewise already on-site wastewater shaft.

Method for setting up a wastewater pumping station in a wastewater shaft, and associated wastewater pumping station

A wastewater-lifting system is provided. The wastewater-lifting system includes at least one bulky-material-collecting vessel for wastewater loaded with bulky materials which is guided therethrough, a liquid-collecting vessel for the wastewater which is freed from bulky materials and precleaned in the bulky-material-collecting vessel, and with a wastewater shaft for accommodating the bulky-material-collecting vessel and the liquid-collecting vessel. The liquid-collecting vessel and the wastewater shaft have at least one common wall surface. The liquid-collecting vessel defines a closed-off space with only a partially covered base surface in the wastewater shaft, and is equipped for this purpose with at least one wall surface independent of the wastewater shaft.

A wastewater lifting station is provided, in which at least one solids collection tank contains at least one screen for guiding wastewater therethrough and retain solids. The screen divides the solids collection tank into a region containing solids and a region free of solids, and is connected in a pivotable manner by at least one hinge to a flange of the solids collection tank. The screen in an edge region away from the hinge has a rake of comb-type webs and holes that are open on one side in the screen plane. The wastewater containing solids flows through a feed into the collection tank, is filtered through the screen, and the wastewater that is free of solids is collected in a tank downstream. When the wastewater lifting station pumps, the wastewater that is free of solids is pumped by a pump in counterflow through the screen into a pressurized line while the feed is shut off by a check valve, and the screen pivots about the hinge and is back-flushed during the process. Reliable cleaning of the screen, even of fibers, is achieved during pumping owing the rake shape and the pivoting of the screen.
