A method is provided for producing unidirectional carbon fiber cloth by providing a plurality of precursors, wherein each precursor has a plurality of individual filaments, carbonizing the plurality of precursors into a plurality of carbon fiber bundles, subsequently producing a unidirectional carbon fiber cloth from the plurality of carbon fiber bundles, and subsequently winding the unidirectional carbon fiber cloth produced. A device is provided for producing a unidirectional carbon fiber cloth having at least one heat treatment unit for carbonizing a plurality of precursors into a plurality of carbon fiber bundles, a connecting arrangement for producing the unidirectional carbon fiber cloth from the carbon fiber bundles created, and a back beam for winding the unidirectional carbon fiber cloth onto the back beam.

In a method for manufacturing components from composite fiber materials, at least one placeholder is inserted into a recess in a molding tool, wherein the unfinished component is subsequently produced, the placeholder is removed, at least one lifting pad is inserted into the recess and the unfinished component is removed from the molding tool by inflating the lifting pad. In a system for manufacturing components from composite fiber materials, the component removal process is monitored and controlled by a computer unit in order to prevent predetermined maximum component loads from being exceeded. The gentle component removal process makes it possible to avoid consequential costs for repairing or reworking the components.

In a method and apparatus for producing a composite component comprising a hollow profile and at least one injection-molded element, a hollow profile () is formed by means of internal high pressure fluid forming and is encapsulated with an injection molding material to form the injection-molded element. The hollow profile is expanded by means of internal high pressure in a closed combination tool comprising an internal high pressure forming tool element and an injection molding tool element, before it is encapsulated. The hollow profile is pressed on the tool engraving only locally in the region of the location to be encapsulated, keeping the outlet of the injection molding channel opening into the tool engraving clear.

The invention relates to a pultrusion process in which a continuous reinforcement profile is formed by canting of at least one prepreg strip composed of a fiber-reinforced plastics material. The first shaping of the profile takes place in a preform device, which is downstream of a pressure-molding device for final shaping and prehardening. The movement of the profile takes place synchronously with respect to the operating cycle of the pressure-molding device by means of a traction device. By using a cutting device, it is possible to cut the profile to length and/or to subject edges to subsequent mechanical operations to ensure that correct dimensions are maintained. A continuous (pultrusion) gusset is inserted between the prepreg strips in a radius region of the profile. The gusset has an approximately triangular cross sectional geometry and it is formed by a plurality of continuous fibers braided with one another.

The present invention relates to a production method for a workpiece composed of a fiber-composite material, having the following steps: at least one support means is provided. A main material composed of a pre-impregnated fiber semi-finished product and/or of a secondary material are/is applied to the at least one support means in order to form at least two blank-mold areas, in such a manner that at least one of the at least two blank-mold areas has the main material, and at least one of the blank-mold areas has the secondary material. The blank-mold areas are pressure-bonded to one another to form a workpiece blank such that the at least one support means is provided on a surface of the workpiece blank. The at least one support means and the secondary material are removed from the workpiece blank in order to form the workpiece.

The present invention provides a method for the production of a fiber-reinforced plastics material profiled part. The method comprises the supplying of a tubular fiber braid in which a polymer matrix is arranged by being distributed therein. A longitudinal portion of the fiber braid is enclosed in a molding press. The molding press is heated to cure the polymer matrix in the longitudinal portion. After the press is opened, the fiber braid is drawn through the open press in order to position a further longitudinal portion of the fiber braid in the molding press. The further longitudinal portion is enclosed in the press. Another aspect of the invention is the provision of a device for the production of a fiber-reinforced plastics material profiled part.
