A self-drilling screw () has a first cutting edge () provided exclusively in a radially inner region of the drilling tip (), extending at a first acute angle (&#x3b1;) to the longitudinal axis (L), and a second cutting edge () provided in radially outer region of the drilling tip () and extending at a second acute angle (&#x3b1;) to the longitudinal axis (L), with a first enveloping conical circumferential surface (A) which is defined by the first cutting edge () corresponding, with a maximum deviation of +/&#x2212;10%, to a second enveloping conical circumferential surface (A) defined by the second cutting edge (), and with the first acute angle (&#x3b1;) corresponding, with a maximum deviation of +/&#x2212;5&#xb0;, to the second acute angle (&#x3b1;).

Self-drilling screw

A chipless thread-forming screw () has a thread-carrying shank () provided at its opposite ends with a tip () and a head (), respectively, and having a diameter between 0.25 and 0.35 mm, with the shank () having at least one frustroconical section () extending from the tip () in direction of the head () and having, with respect to the thread root (), a point angle (&#x3b1;) between 200 and 300, and a cylindrical section () extending between the frustroconical section () and the head (), and with a starting line () of the thread () remote from the head () being spaced from the tip () by a distance (L) from 0 to 0.3 mm.

Chipless thread-forming screw

A screw including a sealing washer assembly and a shank which defines a screw axis and has a thread in at least a portion thereof and whose one end is provided with a head. The sealing washer assembly is disposed on the shank and includes at least one sealing washer and a reinforcing washer, said reinforcing washer having a thickness, and the sealing washer assembly having a cumulative thickness is disclosed. The sealing washer assembly is spaced, along the screw axis, at a distance from an underside of the head facing the shank, said distance being greater than the thickness of the reinforcing washer and smaller than the cumulative thickness of the sealing washer assembly.

A chiplessly thread-forming screw has a stem () at one end of which a tip () is provided and at another end of which a head () is provided, and which has a pointed conical section () extending from the tip () in a direction of the head (), a cylindrical section () arranged between the first pointed section () and the head (), a first cambered section () adjoining the pointed conical section () in the direction of the head, and a second cambered section () arranged between the first cambered section () and the cylindrical section () and an outer surface () of which has a second curvature radius (R) unequal to the first curvature radius (R) of the outer surface () of the first cambered section ().
