A rotor bearing assembly for an underwater generator of a fluid flow power plant includes a hollow cylindrical bearing carrier configured to be inserted into an interior of a rotor and releasably connected to the rotor such that they rotate together and an axle journal extending into an interior of the bearing carrier and rotatably supporting the bearing carrier. The bearing the axle journal and the bearing carrier are configured as an installation unit such that a portion of the bearing carrier is insertable into the rotor interior and removable from the rotor interior while attached to the axle journal. Also a generator including the rotor bearing assembly.

Rotor bearing assembly for fluid flow power plants

The disclosure relates to a bell plate for a rotary atomizer for applying a coating agent (e.g. paint) to a component (e.g. motor vehicle body component). The bell plate according to the disclosure comprises a metallic base body and a transponder which can be read out wirelessly and is integrated in the bell plate. The disclosure provides that the transponder is arranged on the front side in the base body or is embedded in the outer outer circumferential surface of the bell plate, which facilitates the read-out of the transponder. Furthermore, the disclosure comprises a suitably adapted atomizer cleaning device having an antenna for reading out the transponder in the bell plate. Finally, the disclosure also comprises a correspondingly adapted operating method.

Bell plate, atomizer-type cleaning device, and associated operating method

A sealing system for sealing a rotatable shaft of an underwater turbine against an entry of seawater includes a first seal support and a second seal support arranged axially adjacent to the first seal support along the shaft and a first seal element supported by the first seal support and a second seal element supported by the second seal support. The first and second seal elements each have an annular seal body and a lip extending from the seal body to a sealing surface on or rotationally fixed to the rotatable shaft, and at least one lubricant-filled chamber exists between the first and second seal supports and the shaft.

Sealing system for underwater turbine

The disclosure relates in particular to an apparatus for disinfecting at least one room, in particular for one or more persons, preferably a dwelling space or treatment room, for example a treatment room in a building, in particular a sickroom, a patient room and/or an operating theatre, by means of an atomiser. Specifically, the apparatus is characterised in that the atomiser includes a rotatable bell cup for atomising a disinfectant into the room. The disclosure relates to an associated method and furthermore to the use of a bell cup for atomising a disinfectant in a room for, in particular, one or more persons.

Disinfection device

A fuel cell device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The fuel cell device includes a fuel cell, a supply air path leading to the fuel cell for a cathode supply air flow, and an exhaust air path leading away from the fuel cell for a cathode exhaust air flow. The supply air path and the exhaust air path are routed through a humidifier that humidifies the supply air and dehumidifies the exhaust air. The exhaust air path is further routed through a water separator that removes water from the exhaust air to provide evaporation water. A heat exchanger for cooling the fuel cell is provided that has an evaporative cooler for cooling the heat exchanger. The evaporative cooler is assigned to the water separator in fluidic communication and is supplied with evaporation water by the water separator.

Fuel device and the use thereof in a motor vehicle

A machine assembly includes a first machine component and a second machine component, the first machine component including a first installation surface and the second machine component including a second installation surface. The first and second installation surfaces are mounted against one another in the assembly. A friction-increasing element is provided in the assembly between the first installation surface and the second installation surface. Further, in the assembled state, a sealing material is introduced into an intermediate space between the first and second installation surfaces.

Machine assembly, in particular a tidal power plant

A bearing housing is configured as an end-side cover for a nacelle of a fluid-flow power plant and includes a cylindrical section having an interior and a bearing unit in the interior. The bearing unit includes at least one rolling-element bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring rotatably disposed with respect to each other about a bearing rotational axis and a plurality of rolling elements between the rings. A pressure line of the bearing intersects the bearing rotational axis at a first angle. An angled section of the housing extends from the cylindrical section of the housing at a second angle that is related to, and preferably substantially equal to, the first angle.

Bearing housing

A bearing assembly, such as for a wind turbine or a tidal turbine including a tower and a nacelle, includes a lower part that is attachable to the tower, an upper part that is attachable to the nacelle, a bearing that rotatably couples the lower part to the upper part to allow rotation of the nacelle with respect to the tower, and a brake mechanism configured to selectively prevent relative rotation of the upper part and the lower part. The brake mechanism includes a brake disc and a brake caliper.

Bearing assembly

The disclosure relates to an applicator (RZ), in particular a rotary atomizer, for the application of a coating agent, in particular a two-component paint, comprising a first coating agent connection (SL) for feeding a first coating agent, in particular a basic resin of a two-component paint, a first coating agent strand (L-L), which extends in the applicator (RZ) from the first coating agent connection (SL) and carries the first coating agent, and a first valve (SLV), which is arranged in the first coating agent strand (L-L) and controls the flow of the first coating agent, wherein the first valve (SLV) can be controlled by a first control signal. It is proposed that a first pressure-relief valve (SLV), which is actuated by its own medium, is arranged in the first coating agent strand (L-L) and, to avoid a problem being caused by excessive pressure, opens automatically when the pressure upstream of the first pressure-relief valve (SLV) exceeds a certain maximum pressure.

Applicator, in particular rotary atomiser

A rotor shaft unit for a tidal system, which tidal system includes a main frame and a rotor and a housing connected to the rotor, includes a rotor shaft configured to be connected to the main frame, at least one bearing unit for rotatably supporting the housing for rotation relative to the rotor shaft, and a sleeve configured to be mounted in the main frame, the sleeve being disposed around a first end portion of the rotor shaft and connected to the rotor shaft by a friction connection. Also a tidal system including the rotor shaft unit.

Rotor shaft unit

A kingpin unit includes a kingpin having an inner bore, a sensor tube formed as a hollow sleeve disposed in the inner bore of the kingpin, and at least one sensor disposed in the sensor tube. The sensor is configured to sense a condition of at least one bearing formed or mounted on the kingpin and is mounted in the interior of the sensor tube at, for example, an opening in a side wall of the sensor tube.

An electric coolant pump may include a valve device controlled at a discharge side by pressure. The valve device may include a coolant inlet, a first coolant outlet, and a second coolant outlet. The valve device may be configured to at least one of open and close at least one of the first coolant outlet and the second coolant outlet based on a selected operating point and a pressure in a coolant.

A sealed bearing module for a tidal turbine that has a rotor having rotor blades disposed on a rotor hub and a rotor shaft carrying the rotor for transmitting a drive torque from the rotor hub to a transmission or a generator in a nacelle which nacelle has a housing. The bearing module includes a first bearing ring and a second bearing ring, the first bearing ring is a split bearing ring having a first bearing ring part and a second bearing ring part, the second bearing ring has at least one axially extending bore for attaching the second bearing ring directly to the nacelle housing, the first bearing ring is configured to be connected to the rotor shaft and/or to the rotor hub, and the split bearing ring is preloaded by a preload element.

The disclosure relates to a needle valve for controlling a fluid flow of a coating agent (H, SL) in a painting system, particularly for controlling a fluid flow of a two-component mixture consisting of two coating agent components (H, SL), particularly a two-component paint made from a master batch (SL) and a curing agent (H), comprising a valve seat () and a displaceable valve needle () with a needle stem and a valve head (), wherein the valve head () closes the valve seat () in a closed position of the valve needle (), while the valve head () opens the valve seat () in an opened position of the valve needle (). The disclosure provides a flexible membrane () which surrounds the valve needle () annularly and in a sealing manner upstream before the needle head ().

Needle valve

A motor vehicle may include an internal combustion engine, a radiator, a heat exchanger, a coolant pump, and a valve device arranged separately therefrom, which is controlled at an intake side by pressure. The valve device may include at least one first coolant inlet, at least one second coolant inlet, and a coolant outlet connected to an inlet of the coolant pump. The valve device may be configured to, based on a selected operating point of the coolant pump and a pressure in a coolant, at least one of open and close at least one of the at least one first coolant inlet and the at least one second coolant inlet. The at least one first coolant inlet and a coolant outlet of the coolant pump may be connected to the internal combustion engine, and the at least one second coolant inlet may be connected to the radiator.
