A thread draw-off nozzle for an open-end rotor spinning device includes an entrance-side nozzle funnel and an exit-side nozzle bore adjoining the nozzle funnel. A plurality of notches are arranged in the nozzle funnel and extend essentially radial to the nozzle bore. Each notch has an inlet wall, a baffle wall, a radially outer notch inlet, and a radially inner notch outlet. Each notch further includes an essentially flat notch bottom arranged between the inlet wall and the baffle wall.

A thread draw-off nozzle for an open-end rotor spinning device includes a front surface, a nozzle bore, and a funnel-shaped yarn deflection surface connecting the front surface and the nozzle bore. The front surface adjoins the yarn deflection surface. The front surface and the yarn deflection surface form an effective diameter (D) of the thread draw-off nozzle. The effective diameter (D) of the thread draw-off nozzle is less than 8 mm, and the yarn deflection surface comprises a radius of curvature (R) of less than 2.5 mm.

A false twist device for an open-end spinning device to introduce a false twist in a yarn has a largely tubular carcass and several false twist edges arranged behind one another in the yarn draw-off direction and inclined by an angle in the carcass with regard to the yarn draw-off direction. The false twist edges protrude in such a way into the interior of the tubular carcass that the yarn experiences a deflection on each one of the false twist edges. The several false twist edges are arranged offset in such a way in the carcass in circumferential direction that the yarn simultaneously experiences a spatial deflection compared to its regular yarn draw-off direction through the successive deflections on the several false twist edges.

False twist device for an open-end spinning device

An exchangeable adapter is provided for reducing the size of a trash removal opening of an opening roller housing in open-end spinning arrangements. The said adapter comprises two semi-spherical supporting surfaces at a distance to one another for positioning the adapter on corresponding rounded countersurfaces. The adapter comprises further a curved fiber guiding surface corresponding to the curve of an opening roller as well as a boundary wall for reducing the size of the trash removal opening arranged directly upstream of the fiber guiding surface. The adapter is made from profiled bars and cut to the required effective width. The fiber guiding surface can be provided with a recess which is connected with the external atmosphere and which permits the entry of air into the opening roller housing.
