Apparatuses and methods are provided to inform a user of a broadcast stream, which has multiple, concurrently received channels of program content, about recommendations of a subset of the content currently playing across the available channels or to be played within a selected future time period. The subset of content is selected based on user preferences and system data (e.g., program topic and channel affinities among the broadcast content and channels) to recommend a more diverse subset of content than would be discovered if only user preferences were employed to make the selection of recommended content.

A luggage locating system for locating personal luggage includes a piece of luggage and a light emitting assembly mounted to the piece of luggage and comprising a plurality of light emitters. A remote controller is in wireless communication with the light emitting assembly via transmission circuitry and is actuatable to activate the plurality of light emitters.

A traveler is carried by the housing and includes a body carrying track followers carried in the traveler track of the housing, and carrying longitudinally spaced walls extending away from the body and establishing a catch space therebetween. A retractor is carried by the housing and has a housing portion coupled to the housing and a traveler portion coupled to the traveler to bias the traveler in a direction toward the first end of the traveler track. A dampener is carried by the housing to decelerate the traveler.

A fenestration assembly includes a frame assembly, a movable sash assembly and a lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a first lock and a second side lock. The first lock operatively locks and unlocks the moveable sash to the frame assembly in a first direction only when the movable sash is in a fully closed position. The first side lock operatively locks and unlocks the movable sash in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction both when the movable sash is in the fully closed position and a partially open position.

A building closure operator includes an operator arm pivotable about an arm axis from an arm closed position to an arm open position, an arm lock actuatable to lock the arm in different locked positions and releasable to release the arm, and an articulatable lever pivotable about a lever axis parallel to the arm axis, from a lever home position corresponding to the arm closed position, to a lever actuated position corresponding to the arm open position. The lever includes a lever coupling maintainable in the lever actuated position, and a lever handle pivotable with respect to the lever coupling back to the home position to actuate the arm lock to lock the arm in one of the different locked positions.

A sliding fenestration sash assembly includes a sliding sash and a frame having a first longitudinal member including at least one aperture. A pin is operatively connected to a handle and movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The pin is biased toward the first longitudinal member by a biasing member. The present invention relates to a sliding door latch having a locked and unlocked position for a sliding door having an open and closed position. The sliding door latch includes a handle assembly with a handle and a locking mechanism. The handle is a first position, wherein the locking mechanism is engaged and the sliding door latch is locked, to a second position, wherein the locking mechanism is disengaged and the sliding door latch is unlocked. The locking mechanism may prevent the handle from moving from the second position to the first position when the sliding door is open. The handle is pivotable between the first position and the second position only when the door is closed. Resistance forces may prevent the handle from moving from the second position to the first position when the sliding door is closed without an application of force by a user.

A system and method for adding images to a wireless audio service. The invention is adapted for use in a system for wirelessly transmitting and receiving an audio data stream and includes an arrangement for providing an image and a mechanism for inserting the image into the data stream prior to transmission thereof. In the illustrative embodiment, a third arrangement is provided for receiving and decoding the data stream to extract and a fourth arrangement is included for displaying the image while the audio signal is output. The fourth arrangement may be a digital radio, i.e., a radio adapted to process digital signals, such as a satellite radio, high definition radio, digital AM or other suitable primarily audio wireless communication system. In a specific embodiment, the invention includes an arrangement for automatically inserting a selected image in the stream. In the illustrative embodiment, this arrangement includes a source selector, an image editor coupled to the source selector, an image resizer, an image compressor, and an arrangement for allowing a user to add text, color, style and/or other information to an image output by the compressor. The invention further includes an arrangement for adding images from an archive to the stream and a graphical picture show composer for providing an image queue. An image server is included for feeding the image queue to the output data stream provided by a system server such as an XM or Sirius satellite radio server.
