Various embodiments associated with a composite image are described. In one embodiment, a handheld device comprises a launch component configured to cause a launch of a projectile. The projectile is configured to capture a plurality of images. Individual images of the plurality of images are of different segments of an area. The system also comprises an image stitch component configured to stitch the plurality of images into a composite image. The composite image is of a higher resolution than a resolution of individual images of the plurality of images.

Various embodiments associated with an interface that displays a visualization are described. In a combat or other environment, a great deal of information can be made available. In addition, this information can be compared against a metric of performance. This metric of performance could be qualitative or quantitative. In a complex environment, a relatively large amount of information can be gathered and it can be beneficial to produce an interface that enables a user to quickly understand the information with specific emphasis on how an entity related to the information is performing against the metric. The interface can include various features, such as time controls that allows for playback of previous information, measures of performance, and a structured tree view that illustrates hierarchical relationships of elements.

A projectile can be equipped with a camera and be configured to detonate after receiving a command to detonate. After the projectile is thrown the camera can capture images. These images can be sent by way of the physical link to the handheld device. The handheld device can display the images. A user of the handheld device can view the images and determine if the projectile should detonate based on the images.
