A bracket that secures a cable to a strut-style ladder rung that has a rectangular cross-section with an opening along a lower side. The bracket has a spring flange portion, a latch flange portion, and a cable attachment portion. The spring flange portion is sized to be inserted in the opening of the ladder rung. The spring flange portion provides a spring force against the lower side of the ladder rung. The latch flange portion engages at least two sides of the ladder rung in a latched position. The cable attachment portion receives a cable tie to secure the cable to the bracket and attached ladder rung.

A communications connector has a middle barrel, top sled, and bottom sled. The top sled has a top wire opening and a top insulation displacement contact (IDC) hole with the top IDC hole providing access to a wire inserted into the top wire opening. The top sled has a top IDC channel containing a top IDC. The bottom sled has a bottom wire opening and a bottom IDC hole with the bottom IDC hole providing access to a wire inserted into the bottom wire opening. The bottom sled also has a bottom IDC channel with a bottom IDC. A faceplate assembly is disclosed. The faceplate assembly includes a cover and a backing plate. The cover has at least one hood positioned at an edge of the cover. The backing plate is connected to the cover. The hood creates an opening between the cover and the backing plate to enable cables to be routed therethrough. The backing plate also has an outer edge with a split to enable the backing plate to be installed over pre-installed cables.
