The system comprises a mobile communication device transfer data store, a non-transitory memory, a processor, and an application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor the application monitors transfers of mobile communication device credentials between different mobile communication devices and stores records of the transfers of mobile communication device credentials in the mobile communication device transfer data store. The application further identifies when a mobile communication device is involved in a number of credential transfers that is above a predefined threshold during a period of time based on searching the mobile communication device transfer data store for records of transfers the mobile communication device was involved in, and takes action based on the number of credential transfers in which the mobile communication device is involved exceeding the predefined threshold.

System and method of identifying fraud indicators within telecommunications networks

A method of generating and using a 2D barcode to provide an authenticated service subscriber with an adapted offer comprising monitoring and identifying, by a monitoring application associated with a first service provider, a social network for keywords related to a negative subscriber interaction with a second service provider; engaging a subscriber associated with the negative interaction by the first service provider; generating a one-time use 2D barcode associated with an offer and comprising embedded subscriber information; storing the barcode in a data store; sending the barcode to a mobile device; presenting and scanning the barcode; decoding the information by an offer application; authenticating the identity of the subscriber; adapting the offer based on the subscriber information; searching an inventory data store associated with a physical retail location of the first service provider; locating and presenting the adapted offer; and marking the barcode as expired in the barcode data store.

Method for generating and using a 2D barcode

A method is provided for communication by a mobile telecommunication device. The method comprises detecting, by the mobile telecommunication device, an input related to an advertisement displayed on the mobile telecommunication device and associated with an online merchant. The method further comprises, responsive to detecting the input, transmitting, by the mobile telecommunication device, to the online merchant, a token stored in a memory location in the mobile telecommunication device, wherein the token contains information for facilitating a transaction between the mobile telecommunication device and the online merchant.

A server hosting an electronic shopping application comprises a processor, a memory, and an application stored in the memory that receives a request for electronic shopping content from a mobile communication device, confirms the mobile communication device receives service from a participating wireless provider, routes the request through an internet gateway of the wireless provider, and receives a request to buy an item from the mobile communication device. The application further transmits a request for payment transaction information to the wireless provider, receives payment transaction information, transmits a payment dialog box to the mobile communication device, and receives an input PIN and an input selection of a payment mechanism from the mobile communication device. The application further receives payment information from the wireless provider, completes at least a portion of a checkout screen, and completes a payment transaction on behalf of the mobile communication device based on the payment information.

Carrier assisted mobile phone on-line payment

A mobile communication device. The device comprises a cellular radio transceiver, a short range radio transceiver, a processor, a memory, and an electronic commerce mobile application stored in the memory. When executed by the processor, the electronic commerce mobile application determines an inventory of mobile applications of the device, transmits the inventory via one of the radio transceivers to a security server application executing on a computer system external to the mobile communication device, and detects when the device enters a retail store associated with the electronic commerce mobile application. The electronic commerce mobile application further, responsive to detecting entrance to the retail store, transmits a request for a security risk score to the security server application executing on the computer system external to the device, and implements an escalated level of security check during a payment transaction conducted based on a received security risk score exceeding a predefined threshold.

The method comprises creating records of calls by a subscriber to a customer care handling system, analyzing the records of calls by a customer care handling adaptation application, comparing by the application a frequency of calls to customer care and a frequency of account credits granted to the subscriber to a correlation threshold, where the correlation threshold is randomly varied within predefined correlation values, tagging the wireless communication service account of the subscriber by the application as manipulative of customer care, receiving a call from the subscriber to the customer care handling system, determining by the customer care handling system that the subscriber is tagged as manipulative of customer care, and adapting the handling automated workflow for the subscriber by the customer care handling system based on the determination that the subscriber is tagged as manipulative of customer care.

A method of authenticating a mobile communication device subscriber. The method comprises receiving an authentication request from a third party, where the authentication request designates a level of authentication and comprises a telephone number of a mobile communication device to be authenticated, looking up identifying information based on the telephone number received in the authentication request, transmitting an authentication challenge to an authenticator client application on the mobile communication device associated with the looked up identifying information, where the authentication challenge is based on the level of authentication designated in the authentication request received from the third party, receiving a response to the authentication challenge from the authenticator client application, evaluating the response to the authentication challenge, and transmitting an authentication result based on the evaluation of the response to the authentication challenge to the third party that sent the authentication request.

The UE comprises a cellular radio transceiver, a non-transitory memory, a processor, a third party application stored in the non-transitory memory, and an application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor, the third party application causes the processor to attempt to access confidential information of the UE. When executed by the processor, the application causes the processor to determine a status of consent to release confidential information to the third party application and to take action in response to a determination that the status of consent is consent is not granted to release confidential information to the third party application.

A system for injection and maintenance of artifact objects within user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The UE comprises a display, a transceiver, a processor, and a memory storing a mobile application comprising a script and an injection engine that, upon being executed, the processor receives a payload comprising a visual object and an artifact object. The UE determines placement of the visual object and the artifact object into the script of the mobile application, injects the visual object and the artifact object into the script, and presents the visual object at an anchor location on the interface. In response to input to remove presentation of the visual object on the display, the UE determines that the visual object is associated with the artifact object, and removes presentation of the visual object from the display. The UE presents the artifact object at a second anchor location on the interface.

System and methods for injection and maintenance of artifact objects within user equipment

A system for geographic, temporal, and location-based detection and analysis of mobile communication devices in a communication network is disclosed. The system comprises a database and a server communicatively coupled to the database that receives location data from a vendor server, sets a boundary around each location included in the location data, receives messages from mobile communication devices responsive to display of content on the mobile communication devices, analyzes mobile communication device data corresponding to determined mobile communication identifiers from cell sites, and applies a plurality of exclusions to the mobile communication devices based on the analysis to exclude mobile communication devices based on dwell times within the boundary, historical device patterns within the boundary, and/or dwell times patterns in relation to one or more geographic features in the boundary. The server then generates and displays a list of non-excluded mobile communication devices based on the plurality of exclusions applied.
