The present invention is a toy launcher which is transfigurable from a compacted state to an operative state for launching projectiles. In one embodiment, the launcher utilizes a hand-pressurized air pump for providing the launching power, and may accommodate multiple types of projectiles to be loaded in the gun at the same time. Projectiles may include, for example, a bolo bullet, grapnel, or miniature missiles. Auxiliary retractable features such as targeting components and a flashlight with a logo projector may be added to enhance the play value of the invention.

A toy figure includes a lower torso and supporting legs together with a supplemental angled support. An upper torso and weapons backpack joined thereto is pivotally supported upon the lower torso and is pivoted in response to activation of a bi-directional motor and gear drive mechanism. The backpack supports a plurality of projectile launchers and simulated machine gun units which are pivotally moveable between a stored or closed configuration and a forwardly directed launch or firing configuration. A second motor operated within the upper torso rotates a plurality of cam which in turn engage various latch mechanisms for release of the spring-driven projectile launchers to fully deploy the weapons in their firing positions and to initiate projectile launch. A pair of infrared sensors within the weapons backpack respond to commands received from a remote controller worn on the user's wrist.

A toy cycle includes a frame supporting a seat and a front fork assembly. The front fork assembly is pivotally secured to the frame and is movable between a first position and an alternate raised position. The front and rear wheels are removable and the front fork assembly is pivoted upwardly to a missile launch configuration. The cycle includes a removable handlebar assembly which is separated from the front fork assembly and fitted within an aperture formed at the lower end of the cycle frame. With the wheels removed and the handlebar assembly repositioned, and with the front fork assembly raised to the missile launch configuration, a pair of simulated rockets are assembled upon the front fork assembly and are able to be launched by a spring launch mechanism within the front fork assembly.

Reconfigurable toy cycle

A toy figure includes a body having an upper torso pivotally coupled to a lower torso. The lower torso is coupled to a pair of supporting-legs while the upper torso is coupled to a pair of pivotally supported arms. A head is further supported upon the upper torso. The upper torso includes a spring pivot allowing the upper torso to be pivoted approximately ninety degrees with respect to the lower torso. When pivoted and released, the upper torso rapidly pivots back to its original alignment imparting a punching motion to one of the toy figures arms. A switch is supported within the punching arm of the toy figure together with a flash element and a light emitting diode. A control circuit within the toy figure torso responds to actuation of the switch to produce a crash-type sound and to energize the flash element to provide a simultaneous burst of bright light.

A toy figure pair includes an assault toy figure having a punching mechanism which extends the toy figure arms in a punching or attacking movement as the user manipulates a movable toggle at the toy figure rear torso surface. A target toy figure is movably supported upon a plurality of freely rolling wheels and is able to roll away from impacts received from the assault toy figure. Additionally, a resilient cape supported upon the target toy figure is able to prevent tipping of the target toy figure under certain circumstances.
