A modular valve assembly () is provided. The modular valve assembly () comprises a first valve assembly plate () and a second valve assembly plate (). The plurality of guidance portions () are configured to contact or nearly contact a piston bore () of the rodless cylinder () and guide the piston assembly () as it reciprocates in the piston bore ().

The present invention relates to an end cap for a rodless cylinder () provided with a sealing strip (). The end cap comprises an end cap body () and a channel (). The end cap body () is configured to sealingly fit to a cylinder body (). The channel () is formed in the end cap body () and adapted to receive the sealing strip (). The end cap includes a clamping lever () pivotally affixed to the end cap body (), with the clamping lever () including a clamping surface () that clamps the sealing strip () within the channel () when the clamping lever () is moved to a substantially closed position.

The piston portion () includes a substantially cylindrical head portion () including a mating face ().
