A method for monitoring a surge in a fluid device and a refrigeration system. A fluid device is disposed in an operating unit. The method includes providing and displaying a surge line of the fluid device, where the surge line is at least related to a characteristic between fluid pressure and a flow rate of the fluid device; based on preset time intervals, sequentially providing and displaying operating points, of the fluid device in a current operation condition, in a coordinate system to which the surge line belongs, and when a quantity of the provided operating points exceeds a preset value, removing the first provided operating point therein, so that a quantity of the remaining operating points is the preset value; and monitoring a surge status of the fluid device according to relative position relationships between the displayed operating points and the surge line.

Method for monitoring a surge in a fluid device and refrigeration system

The present invention provides a refrigerating system, including: a refrigerating loop, including a compressor, a condenser, a throttling element, and an evaporator that are connected in sequence through a pipeline; and a purification loop, connected to the refrigerating loop and configured to separate a pressure maintaining gas in the refrigerating loop; wherein the refrigerating loop is connected into the purification loop from the top of the condenser or the top of the compressor. The present invention further provides a purification method for a refrigerating system, including: in a first time period, performing S1: charging, into the refrigerating system, a refrigerant that satisfies a designed refrigerating capacity; and S2: charging a pressure maintaining gas into the refrigerating system, so that pressure in the refrigerating system is higher than atmospheric pressure; and in a second time period, performing S3: separating and discharging the pressure maintaining gas in the refrigerating system.

Refrigerating system and purification method for the same

The present invention provides a refrigerating system, including: a refrigerating loop (), including a compressor (), a condenser (), a main throttling element (), and an evaporator () that are connected in sequence through a pipeline; and a purification loop (), including a purification compressor (), a purification condenser (), a purification throttling element (), and a low-temperature separator () that are connected in sequence through a pipeline, the purification loop being bidirectionally connected to the refrigerating loop through the low temperature separator and configured to separate a non-condensable gas in the refrigerating loop; wherein the purification condenser is capable of exchanging heat with a refrigerant in the refrigerating loop. Thus, efficient and reliable separation of the refrigerant and the non-condensable gas is achieved.

A method for operating a vapor compression system having a compressor driven by a variable frequency drive, wherein the compressor feeds a refrigerant loop, wherein the refrigerant loop includes a cooling circuit for the variable frequency drive, and wherein a flow control member is positioned for controlling flow of refrigerant from the refrigerant loop to the cooling circuit including the steps of: sensing an operating temperature of the variable frequency drive; and controlling the flow control member based upon the operating temperature.

Refrigerant cooled variable frequency drive and method for using same

A control system for a refrigerant cooled variable frequency drive (VFD) for a chiller includes a controller which controls an electronic expansion valve to attempt to maintain a heat sink for the variable frequency drive within its design operating range. When the controller is unable to maintain the heat sink within its design operating range, a load on the chiller is reduced, either by reducing the frequency of the variable frequency drive, or if the chiller includes a compressor with internal guide vanes, by partially closing the guide vanes. The power rating of the VFD can thus be optimized based on its heat generating components operating at a controlled condition, unlike an air-cooled device which is dependent on the ambient environment.
