A machine transmits a message to one or more client devices indicated in a destination tag of the message to configure the one or more client devices to display the message. The machine determines that a client device of the one or more client devices is not connected to a local network that includes a computing node configured to create a message pipe. The machine creates the message pipe from a server to the client device upon the client device joining a video conference in response to determining that the client device is not connected to the local network. The message pipe transmits the message to the client device upon a latter of the client device joining the video conference or accessing the message at the server.

Transmitting a message for display during a conference

Audio, video conferencing with a dynamic, configurable mesh network is disclosed. A mesh reliability variable can condition the design of the mesh network between a high resiliency mode and a bandwidth saving mode. Artificial intelligence techniques and ranking techniques are provided to design the mesh network and determine which client machines are to act as parent nodes and/or child nodes. A Media Distribution Server (MDS) can provide the audio, video conference stream to the assigned parent nodes in the mesh network. The parent nodes can provide the stream to one or more child nodes over the local area network, conserving the external bandwidth of a recipient of the audio, video conference stream.

Dynamic and configurable local mesh network for video conference

A server of an on-premises data center used for a software platform identifies a condition impacting real-time communication services at a premises housing devices accessing the software platform. The server transmits, to a device of an administrator associated with the premises via a messaging application for real-time communication between two or more human-operated devices, a message indicating the condition and including one or more selectable elements each associated with a different action for addressing the condition. The server receives an indication of a selectable element selected from amongst the one or more selectable elements at the device of the administrator. The server causes performance of the action associated with the selected selectable element.

Addressing conditions impacting communication services

A server or an on-premises computing node accesses a message and a destination tag indicating one or more client devices participating in a conference to receive the message. The server or the on-premises computing node determines a configuration for the message based on a source of the message. The server or the on-premises computing node transmits the message to the one or more client devices indicated in the destination tag to configure the one or more client devices to display the message according to the configuration within a display region associated with the conference.

Various embodiments of an apparatus, method(s), system(s) and computer program product(s) described herein are directed to a Mesh Orchestrator. Prior to initiation of an upcoming online event, the Mesh Orchestrator identifies one or more user accounts scheduled to participate in the upcoming online event delivered via a video communication environment. The Mesh Orchestrator defines a mesh of respective client computer systems associated with the identified user accounts. The mesh is defined as including at least one mesh parent client computer system ('mesh parent') and at least one mesh child client computer system ('mesh child'). Mesh Orchestrator sends one or more child designation messages to client computer systems assigned a role of mesh child.
