The invention relates to a system for dilatation of a body passage and delivery of a stent into the body passage of a patient, and related methods of using such a system. The dilatation and stent delivery system may comprise a dilatation catheter having an expandable member on a distal end, and a stent delivery catheter configured to retain a stent and deliver the stent to a body passage. The stent delivery catheter defines a lumen sized to receive the dilatation catheter and permit movement of the dilatation catheter relative to the stent delivery catheter.

Dilatation and stent delivery system and related methods

A tissue constriction device comprises a tissue-surrounding part defining a central, tissue-receiving opening which, when in a tissue-receiving configuration, has a first diameter and which, when in a tissue-constriction configuration, has a second diameter less than the first diameter, at least a shape memory portion of the tissue-surrounding part being formed of a shape memory material with the tissue-constriction configuration corresponding to a memorized shape of the shape memory portion.

Shape memory hemostasis band

A ligating band dispenser for attachment to an endoscope having sliding elements that are positioned on the outer surface of a support structure of the ligating band dispenser. The sliding elements may be slidably engaged to the support structure. For example, the sliding elements may slide along a groove on the outer surface of the support structure. The sliding elements are advanced forward along the groove, causing the sliding elements to impact a ligating band and push the ligating band forward until it is deployed off the dispenser.
