A rotary valve including a port housing, a port, an axially actuated rotary sleeve disposed within the port housing, the sleeve having a plurality of apertures in fluid communication with the port; and an insert disposed within the sleeve, the insert having an opening, the sleeve being rotatable to align one of the plurality of apertures with the opening. A rotary valve including a port housing, having a port, an axially actuated rotary sleeve disposed within the port housing, the sleeve having an aperture; and an insert disposed within the sleeve, the insert having a plurality of openings of distinct size from one another, the aperture of the sleeve being selectively alignable with one of the plurality of openings.

In a preferred embodiment, an oil filter shut off valve wrench for use in rotating an engine oil filter assembly of the type requiring rotation thereof to shut off the supply of oil thereto, the oil filter assembly including an oil filter housing attached to an oil filter sleeve by bolts, the oil filter shut off valve wrench including an upwardly open, U-shaped frame member, and an inverted T-shaped handle mechanism attached to the frame member. The present invention also provides a method of shutting off oil supply to the aforementioned engine oil filter assembly.

A pipe holder and bowl cover for a smoker's pipe is comprised of a spherical mass of open-celled spongy plastic foam with a bowl receiving bore provided therein and dimensioned to frictionally secure the bowl cover to the bowl of the pipe. A retaining screen is mounted within the bore so as to contact the upper rim of the pipe bowl when the bowl cover is secured to the bowl thereby preventing the escape of a tobacco or like substance that is placed in the bowl.
