A water filter system with a filter housing, a filter media, a filter coupling, and a dynamic seal. The filter housing has a top plate and a bottom plate which are both water-permeable, as well as a cavity between the top plate and the bottom plate. The filter media is within the cavity of the filter housing and extends through the bottom plate of the filter housing. The filter coupling extends upward from the top plate and is configured to attach to a float with at least one air chamber. The dynamic seal is coupled to the filter housing along a perimeter of the filter housing and is configured to extend beyond a perimeter of the float, maintain contact with a wall of a water container, and restrict water from passing between the dynamic seal and the wall of the water container.

A water filtering pitcher with a pitcher with a top, a base and an inner wall surface extending between the top and the base to define an internal volume. A filter adapter is positioned within the internal volume of the pitcher, configured to couple to a water filter, and movable between a first position closer to the base and a second position closer to the top. At least one bias member configured to bias the filter upward is positioned between the filter adapter and the pitcher base. When a water filter is received through the top of the pitcher to the filter adapter and water is filtered from above the filter adapter through the water filter and into the base of the pitcher, the at least one bias member biases the filter adapter and water filter from the first position toward the second position.

A key identification system that includes a key identification system housing, a key clamp, a key ring support tray, and two digital identifiers is disclosed. The key identification system housing may include a key receiving aperture extending through housing and sized to receive at least some of a key blade of a key. The key clamp is positioned adjacent to the key receiving aperture and allows the system to maintain the key blade in a fixed position within the key identification system housing when the key is inserted into the key receiving aperture. The key ring support tray is typically coupled to the key identification system housing below the key receiving aperture. The two digital identifiers are positioned within the key identification system housing and designed to capture key blade information.

Key identification system

A key model identification and feedback system includes a key identification housing, a master key receiving aperture, a master key identifier, a processor in communication with the master key identifier, and a feedback module. The processor is configured to access a database defining a plurality of known key models, compare the physical characteristics of the master key with physical characteristics of the known key models in the database to identify a model of the master key, and communicate the model of the master key to the feedback module coupled to the key identification housing. The feedback module, responsive to the communication from the processor, outputs an indication of the model of the master key and directions to a location remote from the key identification housing where a key blank having the same model of the master key is available for duplicating the master key.

Master key identification and feedback system

An automated key duplication system that includes a system housing, a key identification system, a key cutting system, a key blank storage system, a key blank transfer assembly, and a duplicated key retrieval opening is disclosed. The key identification system may be housed at least partially within the system housing and is configured to identify a master key. The key blank storage system comprises a plurality of rods configured to removably couple to a plurality of key carriers. The key blank transfer assembly is housed within the housing is configured to remove one key carrier of the plurality of key carriers from the key blank storage system with the key retrieving apparatus and transport the one key carrier and the key blank coupled thereto from the key blank storage to the key cutting system. The duplicated key retrieval opening is positioned on the housing to receive the one key blank after the one key blank has been cut.

Automated key duplication system and method

Implementations of key blank carriers or key blanks with a standard reference features may include alignment features on a key blank head, key blank tip, a key blank carrier coupled to a key blank sleeve and/or a key blank sleeve, and any feature directly attached to any portion of the key that may be used for referencing in the key duplication system, or any combination of these. The standard reference features may allow any key blank brand model to interface with the machine so as to consistently align each key, regardless of its make and model, for cutting in a universally configured key blank clamp that is clamped to reduce the movement of the key blank during duplication cutting.

A storm door assembly for a doorway to a building comprises a frame configured for hinged mounting at a doorway of a building. The frame comprises an opening through the frame, the opening comprising a depth and at least two channels disposed in parallel around an inner surface of the depth. At least two removable frame inserts are provided, each comprising a front surface, a rear surface, and an insert perimeter comprising a plurality of recesses positioned about the perimeter. A plurality of twisting cams are each disposed within one of the plurality of recesses and not extending beyond the front and rear surfaces, and the at least two frame inserts are each held in a fixed position with respect to the frame via placement of the twisting cams within the at least two channels.

Storm door assembly

A key cutting machine for cutting a notch pattern on a key blank is disclosed. The key cutting machine comprises a pair of cutting heads and a clamp mechanism. Each cutting head includes a cutting wheel having an edge and an alignment structure mounted behind the cutting wheel. Each alignment structure has a key guide portion aligned tangent to the edge of a corresponding cutting wheel to engage and position a key blank laterally. The clamp mechanism is positioned between the cutting heads and is configured to hold the key blank stationary.

Key cutting machine and method

A system for identifying the key blank corresponding to a master key is provided. The system includes a first luminous surface and a second luminous surface. The second luminous surface is disposed opposite the first luminous surface such that the master key is disposable therebetween. The first and second luminous surfaces are operable to generate an image of the master key. A receiver is provided to capture the image of the master key. The system also includes a control having a memory that stores information on a plurality of key blanks. The control is operable to identify the key blank corresponding to the master key based on the image captured by the receiver.

A system and method for identifying a key blank from a master key is provided. The system includes a housing, a first source of uniform light fixed relative to the housing, and a second source of uniform light fixed relative to the housing and disposed at an angle relative to the first source of uniform light. A reflecting device is proviced that has a reflective surface and a transparent surface. The reflecting surface is configured to reflect light generated by the second source of uniform light towards the first source of uniform light such that when a master key is disposed in the housing, the first source of uniform light generates a profile image of the master key and the second source of uniform light illuminates a surface of the master key. A receiver is operable to capture an image of the master key through the transparent surface of the reflecting device.

A method and system for identifying a key blank corresponding to a master key is provided. The system includes a housing. A first source of uniform light is fixed relative to the housing. A second source of uniform light is fixed relative to the housing and is disposed opposite the first source of uniform light such that the master key is disposable therebetween. The first and second sources of uniform light are operable to generate an image of the master key. A receiver captures the image of the master key. A control having a memory configured to store information on a plurality of key blanks identifies the key blank corresponding to the master key based on the captured image.
