A toy gun is disclosed. In one embodiment, the toy gun includes a housing, a barrel coupled to the housing for movement between retracted and extended positions, and a stock for movement between retracted and extended positions. In another embodiment, the toy gun includes a chamber; a device for forcing air from the chamber; a barrel coupled to the housing for movement between retracted and extended positions; and a seal for directing air forced from the chamber through the barrel.

A children's basketball backboard and hoop assembly includes a backboard, and a hoop having a rim which is pivotably attached to the backboard, and a net attached to the rim. The assembly further includes an enlarged secondary training rim pivotably attached to the backboard for movement between an operative position wherein the secondary rim is located above the hoop rim in substantially parallel relation to the hoop rim, and a storage position generally parallel to the backboard. The hoop rim is pivotably attached to the backboard for movement between an operative position wherein the rim extends substantially perpendicular to the backboard and a storage position wherein the rim is positioned in closely spaced parallel relation to the backboard. When the secondary training rim is moved to the storage position it is received within a recess extending along an upper peripheral edge of the backboard. The basketball backboard and hoop assembly also includes one set of straps for releasably securing the backboard to a door, and a second set of straps for releasably securing the backboard to a vertical post. The enlarged secondary hoop is intended to be used by relatively young children to guide stray balls downwardly into the hoop, thereby increasing the chances of making a basket.

There is disclosed a toy projectile launcher having a slidable launch tube capable of sliding in a cylinder to compress gas and receiving that compressed gas to launch a projectile. The toy projectile launcher may also include focusable lights that improve accuracy up to a certain distance.

There is disclosed a projectile launcher with a firing mechanism that can be either hand-held or secured to a body plate. When secured to a body plate, the firing mechanism is attached to a conduit that has on its distal end, a secondary launch tube that can be hand-held or secured to head gear worn by the user and aimed with sights mounted on the head gear.

The toy gun disclosed includes a trigger mechanism for launching projectiles from a flexible tail or other appendage. The tail bends and compressed gas is released in response to pulling the trigger to its full extent so that the projectile is launched when the flexible tail is bent.
