A portable power source. The portable power source includes a housing, a first battery pack support configured to receive a first removable and rechargeable battery pack, a second battery pack support configured to receive a second removable and rechargeable battery pack, an inverter within the housing, and an alternating current power outlet. The inverter is configured to receive output power from the first removable and rechargeable battery pack and the second removable and rechargeable battery pack. The inverter is configured to produce an alternating current power output. The alternating current power outlet is configured to receive the alternating current power output from the inverter. The inverter is configured to be disabled when the first removable and rechargeable battery pack is received in the first battery pack support and the second removable and rechargeable battery pack is not received in the second battery pack support.

Portable power source

A portable power supply including an internal power source, an AC output, a DC output, and an input unit configured to receive power from a first external source. The portable power supply further includes a first power conversion unit configured to convert the power received from the first external source to a first DC power used for charging the internal power source, an AC power conversion unit configured to convert power output by the internal power source to an AC power used for powering a first peripheral device connected to the AC output, and a DC power conversion unit configured to convert power output by the internal power source to a second DC power used for powering a second peripheral device connected to the DC output.

Portable power supply

A device or unit with a lighting component is provided. The device includes coupling components that couple the device to stackable storage unit containers. In one embodiment, the device includes a battery interface to couple to a battery for power tools. In one embodiment, the device includes three lights that are pivotally coupled to the housing between a retracted position in which the lights are disposed against sidewalls of the housing, and an open position in which the lights are pivoted above the top panel of the housing.

The portable power source includes a housing defining a battery support and an power outlet, a circuit supported by the housing and including an input terminal on the battery support, an output terminal on the power outlet, and an inverter electrically connected between the input terminal and the output terminal, a battery power source including a battery housing supported on the battery support, at least one battery cell, and a battery terminal connected to the battery cell and electrically connectable to the input terminal, power being transferrable from the battery cell to the circuit to be output through the power outlet, and a frame connected to the housing and extending beyond a periphery of the housing and of the supported battery power source, the frame inhibiting contact with the housing and the battery power source.

High-power battery-powered portable power source

A portable lighting device includes a body having an interior cavity, a lighting unit supported by the body including a light emitting diode, and a terminal block supported within the interior cavity of the body. The terminal block configured to connect to a power source and provide electrical energy to the lighting unit to illuminate the light emitting diode. The portable lighting device also includes a port formed in the body in communication with the interior cavity. The port configured to allow an electrical wire to pass into the interior cavity to couple the electrical wire to the terminal block. The portable lighting unit further includes a wire clamp supported by the body at the port. The wire clamp includes a single actuator and a clamp. The single actuator is selectively movable relative to the body to move the clamp into engagement with the electrical wire passing through the port.
