A Variety Card Game involves two or more players, each of whom uses a deck comprised of a plurality of cards, and wherein each player draws, holds, and deploys a series of cards from his or her card deck, and uses these cards to initiate in-game confrontations. Confrontation outcomes are determined according to the cards used by each of the players during game play.

Variety card game and method of play

Generally there is provided a cabinet alarm device having a protruding switch lever arm arranged such that it is held open during closure of a cabinet door, but is allowed to close when the cabinet door is opened. The switch is pivotally mounted and urged toward its closed positionby a spring under tension, such as a rubber strip or O-ring fixed to the switch arm and alarm case. This switch controls power to the electronic circuit which includes two oscillator and two controlling comparators. A first oscillator drives an annunciator at a preset high resonant frequency, while a second oscillator operating at a low frequency pulsates the tone. A first controlling comparator circuit operates to disable the tone circuit after a fixed time delay to allow an audible battery check during that delay but preventing further tone unless the circuit is energized for a longer period. A second controlling comparator disables the first comparator and thereby enables the alarm circuit after a preset longer delay or upon detection of sufficient multiple operations.

Security alarm system and switch

A flyback power supply is disclosed which includes a sample and hold feedback path. A pulse width modulation circuit provides control signals for a drive device that determines current excitation pulses for a primary winding of a transformer. A secondary winding of the transformer is connected to a rectifier circuit and provides a DC voltage signal at an output terminal. A selective feedback path is provided between the output terminal and a sense input terminal of the pulse width modulation circuit. The selective feedback path comprises a sample and hold circuit which provides for effectively coupling the output terminal to the sense input terminal at times during the storage of energy in the transformer, corresponding to an increase in transformer flux, and wherein at other times when the transformer flux is decreasing and energy is being transferred from the transformer to the rectifier circuit the feedback path effectively disconnects the output terminal from the sense input. The sample and hold circuit comprises a series pass transistor and a holding capacitor. The series pass transistor is selectively turned on and off in accordance with the control output signal of the pulse width modulation circuit that determines the primary winding current pulses.

Flyback power supply

An apparatus for controllably delivering power from a device to a workpiece is useful, for example, in performing qualitative material tests on various materials. In the instant apparatus, a sonic generator means controllably supplies sonic power to a workpiece, causing the surface of the workpiece to erode. A sensing means produces an actual power signal having a magnitude responsive to the power consumed by the sonic generator means. A settable means produces a desired power signal, and a control means compares the desired and actual power signals and supplies motor control signals in response to the respective magnitudes of the power signals and to a tracking time interval signal. In response to termination of the tracking time signal, the control means blocks the motor control signals. A motor means controllably moves the sonic generator means relative to the workpiece in response to receiving the motor control signals. Owing to the controllability of the apparatus, consistent, objective material test results are obtained from analysis of the power consumed by the sonic generator means with respect to time.
