A filter device usable with diesel fuels, includes a filter element () exchangeably accommodated in a filter housing. A fluid pump device () having two pump chambers () is part of the filter device. The pump chambers, by a pump piston () guided in the chambers in a longitudinally movable manner, are separated from each other fluid-tight at least in one of the two directions of movement of the pump piston. Each pump chamber () is assigned a valve () opening or closing oppositely to the other valve () when the pump device () is actuated.

A filter device has a filter housing () accommodating a filter element () separating an unfiltered substance chamber () from a filtrate chamber () within the filter housing (). The filter element () is sealed against the filter housing () by a sealing device (). The filter element () is mounted inside the filter housing () using movable bearings ().

Filter device

A filter device, in particular for fluids polluted with admixtures of water, such as diesel oil, includes a filter housing () having a fluid inlet (), a fluid outlet () and a filter element (). During the filtering process, the fluid can flow through the filter medium () of the filter element from the unfiltered side () to the filtered side () of the filter medium and into its inner filter cavity (). On at least one side of the filter medium (), a water-separating system () has a separating region () for separated water. The water separating system is connected via at least one water opening () that is open toward the separating region () to a water collecting chamber (). The filter element () has a passage () forming a fluid connection to the inner filter cavity () and can be connected to an element receptacle () of the filter housing (). A fluid-conveying system () forms fluid paths separated from each other. The first fluid path () leads from the fluid inlet () of the housing () to the unfiltered side () of the filter element (). The second fluid path () connects the respective water opening () to the water collecting chamber ().

Filter device and filter element provided therefor

A filter device for filtering fluids such as fuels, including diesel fuel, has a filter housing (), within which a filter element () can be fastened and exchanged. The filter element has a filter medium that surrounds an inner filter cavity (). A fluid inlet leads to the unfiltered side () of the filter element (). A fluid outlet outflows filtered fluid from the filtered side (). An equalizing tube () extends in the filter housing () up to a maximum filling level height for the filtration operation. The equalizing tube is connected to a tank return connection at a lower end of the equalizing tube and is open at an upper end () of the equalizing tube. The tube () has, at distances from the upper and lower ends of the tube, an inner control part () with a passage opening () forming a throttle point.

A filter element has a mat-type or sheet-type filter web () forming by its outside () at least in part a filter jacket (). Along the outside () of the filter jacket (), a surface configuration or modification takes place with structures () being delimited from the remaining surface () of the filter web (), being joined to the filter jacket () and being of presettable contour and/or thickness. The structures () are generated by spray-fiber application and shaping, in such a manner that in time sequence, first the structures () and then the filter jacket (), or in reverse order in time sequence, first the filter jacket () and then the structures (), or that simultaneously both the filter jacket () and the structures () are formed in negative or positive shape on the filter jacket (). The production of the filter element and a shaping device used in this production process are disclosed.

Filter element having at least one mat-type or sheet-type filter web

A filter device for fluids with a fluid inlet () and a fluid outlet (). A filter element () is enclosed by an end cap () on its lower end facing a bottom part () of the filter housing (). The end cap has a passage () forming a fluid connection to the filter element inner filter cavity () and can be fixed to an element retainer () of the filter housing (). The element retainer () includes a retaining piece () open towards the filter element () with a fluid channel () leading to a housing connection (). The end cap () has a connecting piece () in the retaining piece (). The retaining piece () forms an opening () connected to the fluid channel () leading to the element retainer (). A sealing () seals the opening from the open end of the retaining piece.

Filter device with releasably securable end cap and sealing arrangement

A filter, in particular for fluids polluted by admixtures of water, such as diesel oil, includes a filter housing () receiving at least one filter element (). During the filtering process, fluid can flow through the filter medium () from the outer unfiltered side () of the filter element into an inner filter cavity () forming the filtered side (). A water passage () inside a pipe connector () of an end cap () forms a fluid path (), which is separated from the other fluid path () that forms the connection between the inner filtered side () of the filter element () and a fluid outlet () of the housing () in the functional position of the filter element (). The element receptacle () forms a through-passage () toward the water collecting chamber (). Scaling assemblies () located between the through-passage () and the pipe connection () of the end cap () delimit a connecting chamber () on the outside of the pipe connector (). The connecting chamber connects the other fluid path () to the fluid outlet () of the housing ().

Filter and filter element provided therefor

A filter device, in particular for fluids contaminated with water admixtures, such as diesel oil, has a filter housing () holding at least one filter element (). The filter medium of the filter element separates an untreated side () from a treated side () during the filtration process in the filter housing (). A water collecting unit () is provided and holds separated water on the untreated side. Water separated on the untreated side () also reaches the collecting unit (). Mutually separated collecting chambers () are present in the collecting unit () for the water discharged at the treated side () and at the untreated side ().

A filter device has a filter housing having two separable housing parts (and) that can receive at least one filter element (). The housing parts can be connected to one another by a coupling device (). The filter element (), or an adapter that can be connected to it, forms a functionally essential component of the coupling device (). Only when the filter element () has been placed in its functional position within at least one of the housing parts (), can the housing parts () be connected to form the filter housing of a functional filter device.

A filter device for fluids, especially for fuels such as diesel fuel, includes a filter housing () defining a longitudinal axis (). The filter housing has a fluid inlet () and a fluid outlet () and can accommodate at least one filter element (). The fluid can, during filtering, flow through a filter medium () surrounding an inner filter cavity. The filter element () is enclosed by an end cap () on its lower end facing the bottom part () of the filter housing (). The end cap has a passage () forming a fluid connection to the inner filter cavity () and can be fixed to an element retainer () of the filter housing (). The element retainer () includes retaining piece () on the bottom part () of the filter housing (). The retaining piece is open towards the filter element () with a fluid channel () leading to a housing connection () running into it. The end cap () of the filter element () has a connecting piece () accommodated in the retaining piece () and secured in a supporting zone. The retaining piece () forms an opening () forming a fluid connection to the fluid channel () leading to the element retainer () and including a sealing arrangement () sealing the opening from the open end of the retaining piece.

The invention relates to a device for purifying water contaminated with organic substances, which is drained or collected from filters, especially fuel filters or elements of a fuel system. Hydroxyl radicals are formed from the water by means of a separating device where the hydroxyl radicals oxidize the impurities, especially organic substances, as much as possible, and convert them into compounds such as CO.

Device for purifying water

A filter element () for filtering fluids, such as hydraulic fluids or gases, is in a filter housing () having an inlet () for the fluid to be filtered, an outlet () for the filtered fluid. The filter element has a data storage (). Data stored in the data storage () is electronically readable from the data storage () by a read and/or write device (). An antenna () extends outside the data storage () and provides the signal coupling between the data storage () and the read and/or write device (). The antenna () extends at least in sections about a longitudinal axis () of the filter element () such that independently from the angular position of the filter element () and the attached data storage () a signal coupling between the data storage () and the read and/or write device () is ensured.
