The instant disclosure relates to essentially anhydrous hair-treatment compositions. The anhydrous hair-treatment compositions typically include: one or more polyurethane latex polymers; one or more bis-urea derivatives; and one or more solvents. Additional components such as silicones, auxiliary agents, etc., can also be included. The instant disclosure also relates to kits that include the essentially anhydrous hair-treatment compositions and to methods for treating hair with the essentially anhydrous hair-treatment compositions.

Essentially anhydrous hair-treatment compositions comprising a polyurethane latex polymer and bis-urea derivative

The invention relates to a cosmetic composition which comprises: (i) one or more anionic surfactants, (ii) at least 3.5% by weight of one or more fatty acids, relative to the total weight of the composition, and (iii) one or more antidandruff agents, the anionic surfactant(s)/fatty acid(s) weight ratio being from 0.5 to 3.5. The invention also relates to the use of said composition for washing and conditioning the hair.

The ceramide composition includes capsules dispersed in the ceramide composition, the capsules comprising a shell and a core. The shell includes a polycaprolactone, a block copolymer, and a surfactant. The core includes ceramide NP, hydroxypalmitoyl sphinganine, 2-oleamido-1,3-octadecanediol, and a hydrophobic solvent. The core has a weight ratio of the ceramide NP of (i) and the hydroxypalmitoyl sphinganine of (ii) to the 2-oleamido-1,3-octadecanediol of (iii) is from 1:2.5 to 1:5. Additionally, the ceramide composition includes hydroxyacetophenone and hydrophilic solvent.

Ceramide containing capsules, ceramide compositions, and cosmetic compositions thereof

The present disclosure relates to bi-phase micellar liquid products that include ceramides and other components that are beneficial to the skin. In particular, the products include: (a) a fatty phase comprising one or more fatty compounds and one or more silicones; and (b) an aqueous phase comprising one or more ceramides, one or more water-soluble solvents, one or more surfactants, and water. The products are particularly unique because the ceramides are solubilized in the aqueous phase of the products. In addition to being useful for cleansing the skin, the products support natural lipid barrier function of the skin and improve skin hydration.
