After any user carries a mobile device to a predetermined nearby area of a biometric feature collection device, the mobile device of the user receives a wireless signal broadcast by the biometric feature collection device. The wireless signal triggers the mobile device to upload an auxiliary identification factor other than a biometric feature of the owner and an identity of the owner to an identification server. The identification server establishes a mapping relationship between the received identity and the received auxiliary identification factor. After subsequently obtaining a collected biometric feature uploaded by the biometric feature collection device, the identification server can perform two-factor-based user identity identification based on the previously established mapping relationship and the collected biometric feature.

In one aspect, a method includes receiving at an identification server, and from a mobile computing device that has entered a predetermined area surrounding a biometric feature collection device, a group identifier of a user group to which a user of the mobile computing device belongs. The group identifier is transmitted by the mobile computing device in response to the mobile computing device receiving a radio signal broadcast to the predetermined area. The user group is one of multiple user groups. Based on the group identifier, the identification server selects, from a stored registration biometric feature set, a registration biometric feature associated with each user in the user group. The identification server adds the registration biometric feature to a screening feature set established for the biometric feature collection device. Biometric feature-based identification is performed on the user using the screening feature set.

An identity authentication method is provided. The method comprises receiving request information transmitted by an online terminal device for determining neighbor network devices and determining at least one neighbor network device of the online terminal device according to the request information, identifying at least one credible neighbor network device of the online terminal device from the at least one neighbor network device and identifying at least one weighted neighbor network device of the online terminal device from the at least one neighbor network device, and computing a credibility score of the online terminal device according to a number of the credible neighbor network device and a number of the weighted neighbor network device, generating authentication notification information according to the credibility score, the authentication notification information indicating whether the online terminal device passes identity authentication, and transmitting the authentication notification information to the online terminal device.
