Provided is a module and method for transmitting information using a wireless hidden signal, which is capable of transmitting important information data requiring extreme security using a wireless hidden signal, and allowing the important information to be detected and distinguished by only promised transmitting/receiving parties so that the possibility of the wireless hidden signal being discovered can be minimized and security can be enhanced. The module for transferring information using a wireless hidden signal includes: a hidden formatting unit configured to generate a transmission data frame structure based on data that needs to be wirelessly transmitted; a hidden encoding unit configured to encode the generated transmission data frame structure to generate and output a hidden encoded bit stream; and a hidden modulation unit configured to convert the output hidden encoded bit stream into a wireless signal in a wireless transmission format.

Module and method for transmitting information using wireless hidden signal

Disclosed is a method of generating secret information on the basis of a ring oscillator. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided an apparatus for generating secret information on the basis of a ring oscillator, the apparatus including: multiple PUF information generation units each including at least one ring oscillator cell and generating physically unclonable function (PUF) information generated by the at least one ring oscillator cell; a phase checking unit cross-checking phases for the multiple pieces of the PUF information that are output from the multiple PUF information generation units, respectively; and a secret key generation unit outputting secret key information based on a result of comparing the multiple phases received from the phase checking unit.

A method and apparatus of detecting a frame boundary by using a preamble are provided. The method includes delaying the preamble by a predetermined length of time, wherein the preamble includes an LTF and a code of the (n+1)th one of 2n sync sequences of the LTF is the inverse of a code of the last one of the sync sequences of STF; calculating a correlation value between the preamble and the delayed preamble; and detecting a frame boundary by comparing the correlation value with a threshold correlation value.

A method of generating a packet of a physical layer transmitter of a TV white space (TVWS) wireless personal area network (WPAN) system operating a WPAN service in TVWS is provided. A packet that is generated by the method of generating the packet includes a preamble, a start frame delimiter that is positioned after the preamble, a first physical layer header that is positioned after the start frame delimiter, and a physical layer service data unit that is positioned after the first physical layer header. Here, the first physical layer header represents whether the packet is a ranging packet for ranging, and includes a ranging packet identification bit corresponding to a reserved bit of the second physical layer header in a SUN system and a LECIM system, and a parity bit.

Provided is a distance and position measuring method. A distance measuring method based on packets transmitted and received between a first node and a second node obtains first timing for transmitting a first packet from the first node, second timing for receiving the first packet in the second node, third timing for transmitting a second packet corresponding to the first packet from the second node, fourth timing for receiving the second packet in the first node, fifth timing for transmitting a third packet from the second node, and sixth timing for receiving the third packet in the first node to estimate a clock frequency offset based on the obtained timings, measures a first distance and a second distance based on the clock frequency offset and some of the timings, and measures a distance between the first node and the second node based on the first distance and the second distance.
