A method of providing a dynamic go-bag service to a user is described. The go-bag contains various supplies and important documents, and is configured to protect these contents during an emergency situation. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving user information from a user, including information about the user, the user's family, and the user's home or residence. Based on the received user information, the method further includes generating a customized go-bag for the user that includes contents specific for the user to use in an emergency situation. The method also includes providing the customized go-bag to the user.

A system may include a router that may receive a plurality of data packets from one or more devices that communicatively couples to the router. The system may also include at least one processor that identifies an identity of a device based on a data packet received by the router from the device, generate an insurance policy that includes the device in response to identifying the identity of the device, and sends a notification indicative of the insurance policy to a computing device in response to generating the insurance policy.

A fire prevention system for a building. The fire protection system has an inlet duct having an interior end and an exterior end. An air handler is disposed at the interior end of the inlet duct to provide air from outside the building to the air handler. A flame arrester is located at the exterior end of the inlet duct to prevent burning embers from entering the inlet duct. The fire protection system also includes an interior duct system for distributing air from the air handler through the building. Distribution vents in the interior duct system allow flow of air from the interior duct system to the interior of the building to raise the pressure in the building above the outside pressure. Exhaust vents to allow flow of air out of the building. Also, a method for fire prevention for a building exposed to a fire.

The method includes receiving from a first global positioning system on a vehicle a first set of global positioning data indicative of a vehicle location. The method may also receive from a second global positioning system on a portable electronic device a second set of global positioning data indicative of a portable electronic device location. The method may also receive a set of location metadata associated with a picture. The method determines a residence location from the first set of global positioning data, the second set of global positioning data, or the set of location metadata. The method then associates the physical location to the address.

A system may include a processor. The processor may perform operations including receiving multiple light patterns from multiple wireless devices. The operations may also include determining a location for each of the multiple wireless devices based at least in part on the multiple light patterns. Systems and methods for detecting and connecting to a device in a vehicle

An emergency signaling system is disclosed. The system includes a receptacle and a painting device. The painting device is covered in a paint material and stored in the receptacle. The receptacle can be used to launch the painting device onto a surface, such as a roof, in the event that a user needs to signal a search and rescue team or anyone near their present location. The painting device, upon contact with a surface, creates a painted signal. The painted signal can have different shapes according to the shape of the painting device. The painting device can include weight members or flexible frame members to facilitate opening the painting device from a closed or folded configuration to a fully open configuration once the painting device has been launched from the receptacle.

A pre-disaster banking system including a mobile conditions monitoring center including a vehicle having a system controller including: a device processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions to perform the following steps: receiving location data from a personal electronic device of a user; receiving forecast data regarding a predicted disaster; making a first determination, based on the received location data and the received forecast data, that the personal electronic device is located in an area that is expected to be affected by the predicted disaster; receiving banking information for the user; making a second determination that the user is scheduled to receive a payroll deposit that could be affected by the predicted disaster; and determining, based on the first determination and the second determination, a banking transaction to be executed for the user at a predetermined time relative to the predicted time of occurrence of the predicted disaster.

Pre-disaster education system

The present disclosure relates to monitoring data in and around a vehicle to predict anomalous, e.g., unsafe, road conditions, and using the data to suggest a corrective action to avoid the unsafe road conditions. A computing device receives information indicative of imagery, sound, or vehicle operation via sensors and/or cameras mounted in or near a vehicle. The information may be received via the vehicle itself or via a device. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of an anomalous road condition. The computing device also receives vehicle operation data extracted from one or more vehicle sensors. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of unsafe road conditions, and if there is, the computing device may output a notice or alert via a notification system to alert the driver.

A fire suppressing insulation. This insulation will create a barrier that blocks a fire to protect a structure from damage and will assist in suppressing the fire. Also, a fire suppression system including two walls, such as an interior wall and an exterior wall or two interior walls. The walls are spaced apart from each other by a divider to define an interior volume. At least a portion of the interior volume includes fire suppressing insulation that will form a fire suppressing intumescent barrier between the walls when exposed to the heat of a fire.

The at least one building component detection sensor device is configured to detect data relating to at least one building component of the plurality of building components. A system for dispensing flame retardant foam on the exterior of a structure. The structure has an opening that enables distribution of flame retardant foam onto the roof. The system includes a foam distribution system having a foam expansion chamber and a roof plenum for delivery through the roof opening. Foam solution and compressed air are combined in a conduit and supplied to the foam expansion chamber. The structure may have at least one wall. In that case, the system may have a wall plenum for delivery of flame retardant foam from the foam expansion chamber through a first wall-associated opening. Each such wall will have an opening associated with the wall that enables distribution of flame retardant foam onto that wall.
