An illumination apparatus including a transparent substrate, an opposite substrate and an electroluminescence structure disposed between the transparent substrate and the opposite substrate is provided. The transparent substrate has a first region and a second region adjacent to the first region. The electroluminescence structure is disposed on the transparent substrate. The electroluminescence structure includes a first electrode disposed in the first region, an optical adjusting layer disposed in the second region, an organic electroluminescence layer disposed above the first electrode and the optical adjusting layer and a common electrode disposed above the organic electroluminescence layer. The optical adjusting layer is disposed between the organic electroluminescence layer and the transparent substrate.

Illumination apparatus capable of illuminating different lighting patterns

An electroluminescent device includes a substrate, a first electrode, a patterned pixel define layer, a first color layer, a first connection layer, a second color layer, and a second electrode. The patterned pixel define layer has a first opening. A projected area of the first opening on the substrate is A. The first color layer is located in the first opening and electrically connected to the first electrode. A projected area of the first connection layer on the substrate is B. The second color layer is located between the first connection layer and the second electrode. When a ratio of B to A is r1, light emitted by the electroluminescent device has a first color temperature. When the ratio of B to A is r2, the light emitted by the electroluminescent device has a second color temperature.

Electroluminescent device having color layers in patterned pixel define layer

A pixel array including a plurality of pixel units is provided. Each of the pixel unit includes at least a first color subpixel, a second color subpixel and a Ncolor subpixel, wherein N is an integer and N&#x2265;3. The first color subpixel includes a first stacked light-emitting layer, the second color subpixel includes a second stacked light-emitting layer, and the Ncolor subpixel includes a Nstacked light-emitting layer. The first stacked light-emitting layer, the second stacked light-emitting layer, and the third stacked light-emitting layer each include a main light-emitting layer and an auxiliary light-emitting layer. The main light-emitting layer of the first color subpixel and the auxiliary light-emitting layer of the second color subpixel are the same material layer. The main light-emitting layer of the Ncolor subpixel and the auxiliary light-emitting layer of the first color subpixel are the same material layer.

Pixel array with sub-pixels comprising vertically stacked light emitting layers

A display panel includes an active device disposed on a substrate, a first electrode electrically connected to the active device, a pixel definition layer, a light emitting layer, a second electrode, a shielding pattern layer, and first and second color filter pattern layers. The pixel definition layer has a first opening overlapped with the first electrode. At least a portion of the light emitting layer is disposed within the first opening and on the first electrode. The second electrode is disposed on the light emitting layer. The shielding pattern layer is disposed on the second electrode and has a second opening overlapped with the first opening. The first color filter pattern layer is disposed on the second electrode and overlapped with the first and second openings. The second color filter pattern layer is disposed on the second electrode. The first and second color filter pattern layers are stacked with each other right above the shielding pattern layer.

Display panel

A display panel includes a pixel array layer and a light-blocking layer. The pixel array layer has a plurality of pixel blocks, and each pixel block has a first side. The light-blocking layer disposed above the pixel array layer and has a plurality of first light-blocking belts corresponding to the pixel blocks. The first light-blocking belt at least partially extends along the first side of its corresponding pixel block. Accordingly, the outgoing light emitted at a larger angle from the pixel blocks can be at least partially blocked.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes a substrate, an organic light emitting diode, and a first barrier layer. The organic light emitting diode is disposed on the substrate, in which the projection of the organic light emitting diode on the substrate has a first profile. The first barrier layer is disposed on the organic light emitting diode, in which the projection of the first barrier layer on the substrate has a second profile. The first profile is non-conformal with the second profile.

Organic light emitting diode display

A display panel is provided. The display panel includes a substrate and a plurality of sub-pixels. The substrate includes a plurality of unit regions. One first sub-pixel, one second sub-pixel, one third sub-pixel and one fourth sub-pixel are disposed in each unit region. Each sub-pixel includes a first electrode layer, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode layer. The light-emitting layer is disposed on the first electrode layer, and the second electrode layer is disposed on the light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer of each first sub-pixel and the light-emitting layer of each second sub-pixel include a same light-emitting material capable of emitting a first color light and a second color light. A difference between a main peak of the first color light and a main peak of the second color light is within 50 nm in the wavelength range.

A pixel array includes a plurality of pixel groups, each of which includes a plurality of brightness sub-pixel regions, a plurality of first sub-pixel regions, and a plurality of second sub-pixel regions. Each brightness sub-pixel regions has a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side. The first sub-pixel regions include a first group and a second group, and the second sub-pixel regions include a third group and a fourth group. The first, the second, the third, and the fourth groups are respectively disposed at the first, the third, the second, and the fourth sides of the first brightness sub-pixel region. Extension lines of long directions of the first, the second, the third, and the fourth groups respectively interlace a vertical baseline at a first angle &#x3b8;1, a second angle &#x3b8;2, a third angle &#x3b8;3, and a fourth angle &#x3b8;4. 0&#xb0;&#x3c;&#x3b8;1&#x3c;90&#xb0;, 0&#xb0;&#x3c;&#x3b8;2&#x3c;90&#xb0;, 0&#xb0;&#x3c;&#x3b8;3&#x3c;90&#xb0;, and 0&#xb0;&#x3c;&#x3b8;4&#x3c;90&#xb0;.

An organic electroluminescent device including an anode layer, an organic functional layer and a cathode layer is provided. The organic functional layer is disposed between the anode layer and the cathode layer. The cathode layer includes a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer is disposed between the organic functional layer and the second conductive layer, and work function of the first conductive layer is higher than work function of the second conductive layer.

A display panel includes a substrate, a luminous display array, a thin film encapsulation, an auxiliary layer, an optical film and an optical clear adhesive. The luminous display array is disposed on the substrate. The thin film encapsulation layer is disposed on the substrate, covering the luminous display array. The auxiliary layer is disposed on the then thin film encapsulation. The auxiliary layer has an even top surface, and a shore hardness ranging from D4 to D60. The optical film is disposed on the auxiliary layer. The optical clear adhesive is disposed on the even top surface of the auxiliary layer for attaching the auxiliary layer and the optical film.

Display panel and method of fabricating the same

A pixel structure of electroluminescent display panel has a first sub-pixel region, a second sub-pixel region and a third sub-pixel region. The pixel structure of electroluminescent display panel includes a first organic light-emitting layer and a second organic light-emitting layer. The first organic light-emitting layer, which includes a first organic light-emitting material, is disposed at least in the first sub-pixel region and the second sub-pixel region. The second organic light-emitting layer, which includes a second organic light-emitting material and a third organic light-emitting material, is disposed at least in the second sub-pixel region and the third sub-pixel region. The first organic light-emitting layer and the second organic light-emitting layer overlap in the second sub-pixel region. The first sub-pixel region and the third sub-pixel region have different cavity lengths.

Pixel structure of electroluminescent display panel

A white organic light-emitting device is provided by the present invention. The white organic light-emitting device includes an anode, a hole transport layer, a first light-emitting layer, a second light-emitting layer, a third light-emitting layer, an electron transport layer and a cathode, wherein the second light-emitting layer is formed between the first and the third light-emitting layers, the emission wavelength of the second light-emitting layer is longer than that of the first and third light-emitting layers, and the host material of the first and third light-emitting layer are different. The white organic light-emitting device of the present invention is capable of effectively increasing the luminous efficiency, reducing operating voltage, and providing color stability.

A pixel structure of an electroluminescent display panel includes a first sub-pixel region, a second sub-pixel region, a third sub-pixel region and a fourth sub-pixel region having different cavity lengths. The first sub-pixel region and the second sub-pixel region share a first organic light-emitting layer, which can generate a first primary color light in the first sub-pixel region, and a second primary color light in the second sub-pixel region. The third sub-pixel region and the fourth sub-pixel region share a second organic light-emitting layer, which can generate a third primary color light in the third sub-pixel region, and a fourth primary color light in the fourth sub-pixel region. The first primary color light, the second primary color light, the third primary color light and the fourth primary color light have different spectra of wavelength.
