Present invention is related to a metallic particle-deposition substrate having a metal substrate and multiple metallic particles attached thereon. The metallic particles are nano-particles with at least 90% of these nano-particles as single layer being evenly dispersed on the metal substrate. Each of the metallic particle is isolated without toughing or overlapping. The metal substrate has different material than the metallic particles in each preferred embodiment in the present invention. More preferably, at least 80% of the metallic particles have the distance between each metallic particle is at a range of 2-6 nm for better generation of hotspot effects. The present invention provides a fast production method for producing the substrate with heterogeneous interface. The metallic particles are evenly attached to the surface of the metal substrate to obtain better surface enhanced Raman effect as to apply for sensors in all kinds of field.

A catalyst layer material and a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) having same are provided. The catalyst layer material used for a fuel cell has a catalyst support and a catalyst distributed on the catalyst support. The catalyst support has TiMNO, wherein Ti is titanium; M is one metal element selected from a group consisting of group IB metals, group IIA metals, group IIB metals, group VB metals, group VIB metals, group VIIB metals and group VIIIB metals; N is an non-metal element selected from a group consisting of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur; O is oxygen; 0&#x3c;W&#x2264;1; 0&#x3c;X&#x2264;0.5; 0&#x3c;Y&#x2264;0.2; 1.5&#x2264;Z&#x2264;2.0. By applying a non-carbon catalyst support doped with metal cations and anions to the membrane electrode assembly, stability and performance of the fuel cell can be effectively enhanced.

Catalyst layer material and membrane electrode assembly including same

A laminated optical disk, applied for lighting system or solar energy system, includes a plurality of annular lenses, a base and a circular light guiding unit. The annular lenses are arranged in order from center to outside to form a disk-structure. Each annular lens has a light-input curved surface and a light-output curved surface respectively matching the different thickness of the base. The light-input curved surface is opposite to the center. The light-output curved surface is opposite to the light-input curved surface, and facing to the center. The light is incident on the light-input curved surface, refracted and tended to concentrate by the light-input curved surface. Besides, the light exiting from the annular lens is to be refracted to the direction of the center by the light-output curved surface. The base of the laminated optical disk can significantly improve the light leakage problem by different annular lenses.

An apparatus for voltage controlling used in a portable electronic device includes an HDMI connector, a detector and a voltage selector. The HDMI connector is to establish a connection with an external device. The detector is to detect whether the connection is established by detecting a voltage of a hot plug detect pin of the HDMI connector and to further compare the voltage to a threshold voltage so as to generate a control signal accordingly. The voltage selector is to select one of a first voltage and a second voltage based on the control signal and to further output the selected voltage to a power pin of the HDMI connector. In the apparatus, the control signal orders the voltage selector to select the second voltage if the voltage is not lower than the threshold voltage, and to select the first voltage otherwise.

Apparatus and method for voltage controlling used in a portable electronic device

Disclosed is an image correction method of correcting an image including a number of horizontal image scan lines each corresponding to a number of pieces of image data. The method includes the following steps: segmenting each of the horizontal image scan lines into a plurality of segments according to a plurality of nodes, each of the segments having an original segment length; looking up a table to generate at least one correction parameter according to a selection signal; generating a gain value according to a control signal; correcting the original segment length to generate an adjusted segment length according to the gain value and the correction parameter; and altering positions of the plurality of nodes to correct the image according to the adjusted segment length.

Image correction method

A pixel structure is provided. Each pixel region has a first pixel unit disposed on a first sub-pixel region and a second pixel unit disposed on a second sub-pixel region. A common line crossing over the first and the second sub-pixel regions has a first common electrode portion disposed within a first common capacitor region in the second sub-pixel region. A first capacitor electrode of the first pixel unit extends to the first common capacitor region from the first sub-pixel region, so that the first capacitor electrode overlaps the first common electrode portion to form a first extending capacitor. A second pixel electrode of the second pixel unit disposed within the second sub-pixel region. The second pixel electrode overlaps the first common electrode portion to constitute a second storage capacitor. The second storage capacitor and the first extending capacitor are stacked on the first common capacitor region.

Pixel structure

A pixel interpolation method includes the following steps. First, multiple first macroblocks and second macroblocks are generated according to pixel data of a first real pixel row and pixel data of a second real pixel row, respectively. Next, block matching is performed on the first and second macroblocks to find a minimum block difference and a detected direction of a target pixel belonging to a first interpolated pixel row. Thereafter, the target pixel of the first interpolated pixel row is generated by way of interpolation according to the pixel data of the first and second real pixel rows and the detected direction.

Pixel interpolation apparatus and method thereof

A quick port-switching method and associated apparatus are provided. A quick port-switching display control circuit includes a display controller, a first TMDS port, a second TMDS port and an analog video port. The display controller has a first GPIO pin and a second GPIO pin. The first TMDS port, second TMDS port and analog video port are coupled to the display controller for receiving a first TMDS input, a second TMDS input and an analog video signal, respectively. The first TMDS input and second TMDS input include a first hot-plugging signal and a second hot-plugging signal to be received by the first GPIO pin and second GPIO pin, respectively. The display controller determines whether the first TMDS input is valid by detecting whether the first hot-plugging signal is asserted, and determines whether the second TMDS input is valid by detecting whether the second hot-plugging signal is asserted.
