A touch panel correcting apparatus for correcting a first coordinate and a second coordinate associated with a touch position is provided. The correcting apparatus includes a memory and a controller. The memory stores a look-up table storing a plurality of corrected coordinates. The controller selects a corrected first coordinate from the look-up table according to the first coordinate, and substitutes the corrected first coordinate and the second substitute into a function to generate a corrected second coordinate corresponding to the second coordinate.

Touch panel and correcting apparatus thereof

A method for designing a pattern of sensing channels is provided. The method is applied to a touch panel including a plurality of electrodes and a plurality of sections of sensing channels. The electrodes are connected to a plurality of sensors for the touch panel via the sections of sensing channels. According to a minimum sensing channel width, a minimum sensing channel gap, a maximum distribution width and lengths of the sections of sensing channels, a set of rules are established. According to the set of rules, a programming process is utilized to determine respective widths of the sections of sensing channels.

Method for designing pattern of sensing channels in touch panel

A signal processing method for a display device is provided. The display device is capable of connecting a portable consumer electronic device via a high-definition link (MHL) port. Via the communication bus (CBUS) in the MHL port, a set of encryption codes is provided to the portable consumer electronic device. Based on an encrypted identification fed back from the portable consumer electronic device, it is determined whether the portable consumer electronic device passes authentication. If the portable consumer electronic device passes the authentication, when a human interface device provides a user command to the display device, the user command is encrypted according to the set of encryption codes to generate an encrypted user command compliant to the CBUS specification. Via the CBUS of the MHL port, the encrypted user command is provided to the portable consumer electronic device.

A self-capacitive touch control apparatus includes a plurality of electrodes, a plurality of sensors, and a number determining module. The sensors detect capacitance changes in the electrodes to generate a plurality of sensing results. The number determining module calculates a total sensing amount according to the sensing results, and determines the number of touch points according to the total sensing amount.

A signal processing method for a touch panel is provided. The touch panel includes a first sensing region and a second sensing region. The first sensing region is monitored by at least one first sensor to generate a first monitoring result. A circuit for color space conversion and associated method compresses a portion of an xvYCC color space exceeding an sRGB color space into the sRGB color space via a simplified circuit design when a conversion from the xvYCC color space to the sRGB color space is performed, thereby improving visual effects. The circuit for color space conversion includes a conversion unit converting a pixel signal from the xvYCC color space to the sRGB color space. During the conversion, the conversion unit generates a pixel component on each dimension of the sRGB color space, and compresses the pixel component to output a compressed pixel component when a value of any pixel component is in a compression interval. The compressed pixel component does not exceed a defined range on a corresponding dimension of the sRGB color space.

A method for detecting left-eye/right-eye images is capable of effectively and accurately detecting a sequence or positions of left-eye/right-eye image frames of a stereo image signal. The method includes performing block matching on a target block corresponding to two consecutive image frames of an image signal to determine a motion vector; and performing left-eye/right-eye image determination on a current image frame from the two consecutive image frames according to the motion vector.
