A static electricity discharging shoe with conductive link to ground having a conductive insole contacting with a sole of a foot of a user, and a conductive outer sole contacting with a ground; and an electro-conductive insert, having an upper major and a lower minor base, the insert in electrical communication between the insole and the outer sole, the insert having a lateral geometry proportioned for complemental engagement within a mid-sole situated between the insole and the outer sole, a narrow middle portion of the insert secured within the mid-sole, the upper surface of the insert positioned opposite to the plantar metatarsal region of the sole of the foot proximally to the K-1 acupressure point when the foot abuts the insole, the upper surface of the insert defining a slightly raised pad, having orthopedic benefit in off-loading of metatarsal stresses on the foot in the area of the K-1 point.

A shoe for enhancing human performance and improving health by establishing a two-way electrical conduit between body and ground by way of a conductive rubber outsole material of a shoe. A resilient conductive element is integral with the outsole and extends along a heel of the shoe upper along its outer surface. An electrical tape or similar material extends into the interior of the shoe and contacts a conductive sock liner. The conductive tape or similar material may be placed over a non-conductive sock liner so as to contact the foot directly. The foot is in constant electrical connection with the conductive outsole via the tape, which may contain a lighted element on the outside of the shoe. A conductive sock or hose may be employed to provide lower resistant electrical path to the ground. The resistance range of the conductive materials used should be between 100 resistance ohms and 100,000 resistance ohms to ensure collection of beneficial free electrons from the earth's surface and dissipate harmful EMF's and static electricity from the human body.

Electrically conductive footwear utilizing earthing technology for enhancing human performance

A triple density replacement insole which has at least two coextensive layers of different densities which are adjacent one another and extending the length of the insole comprising a first top cloth layer and a second gel layer and a third density layer comprising a stability cradle adjacent the gel layer. In a preferred embodiment, the stability cradle, which extends from the arch area to the heel area and secures to the gel layer, defines a first metatarsal region gap which exposes the gel layer and a second heel region gap which exposes the gel layer. A heel cushion is positioned in the second heel region gap adjacent to the gel layer and is secured to the gel layer exposed in that region. A metatarsal arch support is integrally formed in the first metatarsal region gap area.

A conductive sock may be employed to provide a more reliable electrical path to the sock liner and thereby to the ground.

A resilient conductive element is integral with the outsole and extends along a portion of the outer surface of the shoe upper, typically being secured to and around at least a portion of the collar of the shoe and further extending over at least a portion of the inside surface of the upper.
