A hair decorating system that includes a string covered in wax in a first configuration, coiled around an interior segment in a second configuration where end segments are attached, and a third configuration where the coil has been extended to form a crisscrossed pattern around a strand of hair. The crisscrossed pattern is both attractive and decorative.

A hair styling system includes a driver module and a plurality of interchangeably receivable styling modules. The driver module includes a holder configured to interchangeably receive a plurality of styling modules, each configured to perform at least one styling operation, a driver gear positioned adjacent to the holder, and a power module comprising a motor configured to drive the driver gear in a first direction and a second direction. The plurality of interchangeably receivable styling modules each include a styling module gear configured to operatively engage the driver gear and be rotatable thereby to perform at least one styling operation distinguishable from a styling operation performed by at least one other styling module.

Method and device for dispensing a material into a representation on a surface

A pneumatic playball which emits a series of strobe-like light flashes each time the ball is bounced by a player. The playball includes a spherical casing formed of flexible, translucent plastic material having internal plugs at the opposing poles of the sphere. Suspended between the polar plugs along the diametrical axis of the spherical casing is a light-flashing unit. The unit includes at least one light-emitting diode (LED) connected to a battery through an electronic blinker which each time it is activated, yields a series of voltage pulses which is applied to the LED to produce a series of light flashes. Activation of the blinker is effected by a motion sensing switch which closes to activate the blinker only when the ball is bounced or otherwise undergoes an abrupt change in velocity.

Flashing light pneumatic playball

A platform on which is mountable a doll resembling a figure skater, the platform serving as a stage simulating a skating rink. Housed within the platform in a finger-actuated mechanism operatively coupled to the lower end of a shaft extending through an upright bearing anchored on the stage. The upper end of the shaft which is slidable in the bearing is clamped to one leg of the doll to support it above the stage. When the mechanism is actuated by a finger on one hand of the player, it then causes the shaft to rotate and thereby spin the doll. When the mechanism is actuated by a finger of the other hand, it then acts to raise the shaft and thereby lifts the doll above the stage. The player, therefore, by concurrently causing the figure skating doll to spin and lift, simulates a figure skating movement.

Skating doll platform

A platform for animating a doll mounted thereon, the platform being provided with a base having a circular well recessed in its underside. Anchored on the base is an upright bearing in which is received a shaft whose upper end projects above the bearing and is clamped to one leg of the doll to support it above the base. The lower end of the shaft projects into the well and is joined to an actuator having an eccentric tip which frictionally engages the horizontal play surface on which the platform is placed. When a player pushes the platform back and forth along this surface the tip is then caused to sweep in a circular path within the well and in doing so to cause the shaft and the doll clamped thereto to rotate. Thus as the platform is pushed, the advancing doll rotates to execute a pirouetting dance movement.

An image projecting toy comprised of a toy figure and an associated internally disposed projection system, the projection system including a disk assembly containing a segmented film element having a plurality of images which are transilluminated by an illumination source, the images being selectable by the user for projection of the same onto a proximately disposed viewing surface.

A self-sufficient, blinking-light LED device formed by a decoratively-shaped casing having a LED projecting from its face, the casing being attachable to the shoe of an individual or elsewhere on his person whereby as the individual walks or jogs, the resultant changes in velocity cause the LED to be intermittently activated to create strobe light effects which attract attention. Housed in the casing is a D-C power source connected through an acceleration-sensitive make-and-break switch to the short leads of the LED, one of which forms the fixed contact of the switch. The movable contact is defined by a cantilevered flat spring having a weight attached to its free end. A change in velocity causes the spring contact to flex to momentarily engage the fixed contact to close the switch and activate the LED.

A pinball machine comprising a housing having provisions for translating a ball in play throughout a plurality of locations therein, including at least one rotary spinner and active bar bumper, said housing further including flippers, inactive bumpers and ball traps and channels disposed at strategic locations on a playing field, the rotary spinners and bar bumpers being operably connected to a drive system which is operated off a single drive motor and which includes an integral scoring relay which generates a scoring signal in response to a drag torque imparted on the drive system every time a ball makes contact with a rotary spinner or bar bumper, the housing further having a three dimensional figure attached to one end thereof, adapted to move at least a part thereof relative to the housing, the figure including an internal mechanism adapted to move one arm thereof in a generally up and down motion such that it randomly and periodically impacts a trigger within the housing which engages a mechanism for raising part of the housing relative to a support surface to increase the difficulty of play, the figure further including provisions for illuminating part thereof and for displaying the player's score, and an audio speaker for providing a 'speaking' effect in response to different play conditions as well as generating various sound effects.

Pinball machine with an interactive three-dimensional figure

This invention relates to an apparatus for writing or drawing that is characterized by an enclosed case having a front side and a back side and in which the front side consists of a transparent screen. Disposed within a substantially rectangular case is a slightly adhesive powder which adheres to the undersurface of the transparent screen so as to render it opaque. A first and second stylus is mounted within the case for producing relatively thick and relatively thin lines by movement along the undersurface of the transparent screen in a manner for removing the adhesive powder and to thus produce lines. The first and second stylus are both moved in the X and Y coordinates through the use of external horizontal and vertical line control knobs which are internally coupled to the multiple stylus by first and second transverse rods, each being supported on and attached to a separate cable loop system. The multiple stylus may be fixedly withdrawn from the screen by actuation of the retraction thus enabling the operator to use both hands for moving the stylus to a second horizontal and/or vertical position on the screen without production of a line from the first to the second writing or drawing.

A hoop-like toy capable of automatically counting the number of rotations of the toy about a portion of a player. The hoop-like toy includes a torodially shaped member having a counter mechanism with an actuator displaceable upon contact with a player for indexing the counter mechanism and thereby counting rotations of the toy about a portion of the player.

An ultra-miniature electrically powered vehicle having an electric motor which drives at least one of the vehicle's wheels, and which is energized through a pair of pick-up shoes contacting an electrified track. The brush assemblies of the motor are located substantially parallel and proximate to the vehicle's front axle and extend outwardly of the vehicle chasis into the volume defined by the front wheels, which are open on the inside face. The drive shaft of the motor lies above the plane defined by the axles of the vehicle. These features enable the vehicle to be significantly smaller than those of the prior art.
