A method for sequentially and precisely registering cut sheets for application onto advertising signatures at high speeds employs an initial roll of sheeting material. The sheeting material is unwound to track a process path, where eyemarks on the sheeting material are detected for use in registering the sheeting material to be cut into discrete sheets and to be aligned with a moving advertising signature for affixation thereto. The sheeting material has a repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive along one side edge thereof for use in adhering the cut sheet to the advertising signature. In one embodiment, the sheeting material is generally opaque adjacent one side edge and is sufficiently transparent adjacent its other side edge so that when a sheet cut from the sheeting material is adhered to an advertising signature, images on the advertising signature are visible through at least a portion of the sheet.

Method for adhering linerless repositionable sheets onto articles

A fuel flow diverting system is provided for a diesel engine powered vehicle including an auxiliary power system driven from the engine of the vehicle when the latter is stationary and wherein the vehicle is provided with primary and secondary fuel tanks with fuel supply and return lines being provided for each tank. The fuel diverting system is operative when the auxiliary power system is not operating and the vehicle is being operated in an over-the-road mode, to draw engine fuel from and return excess engine fuel to the primary tank. The fuel diverting system is further operative, when the vehicle is stationary and the auxiliary power system drivable when the vehicle engine is actuated, to supply fuel to the engine from the auxiliary fuel tank only and to return fuel from the engine to the auxiliary fuel tank only.

Vehicle off road fuel use indicator

A rack mountable on the bumper of an automotive vehicle comprises a first frame for clamping onto the bumper of the vehicle. The first frame includes two vertical members interconnected by two horizontal members. Part of the vertical members is formed to conform to the bumper. Hook bolts and associated fasteners are provided to secure the first frame to the bumper. A separate second frame is slidably mounted on the first frame and extends upwardly therefrom. The second frame is adapted to carry a bicycle. The second frame comprises a pair of parallel U-shaped frames, having adjacent open ends with one frame overlapping the other. The U-shaped frames are connected to each other with a distance therebetween. One of the U-shaped frames has a closed end provided with more than one member extending therefrom transversly to the plane of the frame. The member has bumps formed therein for retaining a bicycle thereon.
