A removal system for sewn-in hair extensions, hair weaves, hair augmentation, and wigs is disclosed. This invention solves issues with respect to facile removal and scalp irritation caused by such extensions through the use of methods using dissolvable thread and dissolving agent, with optional added antipruritic and anti-itch properties or by adding a separate antipruritic agent. The dissolvable thread may be used to either secure hair extension wefts to a wearer's hair or in conjunction with a hair weft constructed of the same dissolvable material comprising the thread.

Removal system for sewn-in hair extensions, hair weaves, hair augmentation, and wigs

A latch/ejector mechanism (2), designed for use with components (6) such as power supplies, computer modules and circuit boards, is used to secure a component to and release the component from a housing (104) by engaging and disengaging a catch element (96) on the housing. The mechanism includes a handle (8) pivotally mounted to the component for moving between latched and unlatched positions. The handle has a latch (94) at one end (28) which engages with and disengages from the catch element during such pivotal movement of the handle. The mechanism also includes a trigger (10) which must be actuated to permit the handle to be moved from the latched position to the unlatched position. A security lock (12), movable between locked and unlocked positions, is used to prevent the actuation of the trigger. In the locked position the lock surface (86) of the security lock opposes a portion of the trigger, called a prevent element (90). However, moving the lock to the unlocked position causes the lock surface of the security lock to be misaligned with the prevent element to permit unimpeded movement of the trigger element thus permitting actuation of the trigger element to release the handle.

Injector/ejector latch lock mechanism

An electronic module configured to removably receive a power cord is provided with an interlock mechanism that prevents the power cord from being attached or removed while the module is in a power-on or current-drawing condition. The electronic module includes an on/off switch that, when in its on state, places the electronic module in a power-on condition. A guard mechanism is mounted to the electronic module, proximate the power switch, and is movable from a first position that captures and holds the power cord in connected condition with the electronic module, or prevents connection with the electronic module, to a second position permitting removal or connection of the power cord. Movement of the guard mechanism from the first position to the second position is permitted only if the power switch is in an off state.

Electronic module switch and power and interlock system

An improved hinge assembly for a personal computer system. The hinge is comprised of a tubular portion which is rigidly connected to the cover unit of the computer. A part of the tubular hinge is left open to form a passageway into the cover unit. The tubular portion rotates relative to the main body section of the computer. The tubular portion has a longitudinal section removed from near its mid-point, forming a gap. This gap is closed by a curved cover element. The cover element is held stationary with respect to the main body section of the computer. Thus, when the cover unit is opened, the tubular portion rotates relative to the cover element. A cable connecting the electrical components in the cover unit to the main body section passes through an opening in the curved cover element, is bent, travels through the tubular section, parallel to its central axis, is bent again and passes into the cover unit.
