Methods, systems, and method for predicting sensor measurement quality. In some implementations, the method comprises: measuring, using a wearable computing device that includes a processor and a sensor, information indicating motion of the wearable computing device during a current time period; identifying one or more parameters associated with a determination of a likelihood that one or more measurements from the sensor configured within the wearable computing device is of sufficient quality for calculating a physiological metric using the one or more measurements from the sensor, wherein the one or more parameters include contextual parameters associated with the wearable computing device; determining the likelihood that the measurement from the sensor associated with the user device is of sufficient quality at a second time period for calculating the physiological metric using the measurement from the sensor based on the identified one or more parameters and based on the information indicating the motion of the user device during the current time period; in response to determining that the likelihood exceeds a predetermined threshold, activating the processor and the sensor and collecting a measurement from the sensor at the second time period; and updating the identified one or more parameters based on the motion of the user device during the current time period and based on the measurement from the sensor at the second time period.

Methods, systems, and media for predicting sensor measurement quality

A computerized watch is described that includes a cover that forms an outer surface of the computerized watch, a screen configured to output graphical information for display, a set of physical watch hands positioned between the cover and the screen and configured to present a time of day. One or more computer processors and a memory comprising instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause the one or more computer processors to responsive to determining that the computerized watch is operating in a time display mode, manipulate the set of physical watch hands such that the set of physical watch hands present the time of day by obscuring a portion of a display region of the screen, and responsive to determining that the computerized watch is not operating in the time display mode, manipulate the set of physical watch hands such that the set of physical hands do not obscure the screen.

A computing device is described that executes a centralized service and a plurality of applications. The centralized service detects a change from a first power mode of the computing device to a second power mode of the computing device and responsive to detecting the change, determines a first application from the plurality of applications executing at the computing device, to notify of the change from the first power mode to a second power mode. The centralized service outputs to the first application an indication of the change from the first power mode to the second power mode, and responsive to receiving an indication response from the first application, suspends an application processor of the computing device.

Implementations of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for automatically preloading data pertaining to credentials determined to be likely to be used during a particular time interval into a memory utilized by a credential emulator. The systems and methods described herein contemplate identifying a particular time interval by identifying events that may designate the beginning and end of that particular time interval, identifying contextual information relevant to the client device or a user account affiliated with the client device during the time interval, identifying a set of credentials available for loading into the memory utilized by the credential emulator, determining from the set of credentials, a subset composed of individual credentials that are likely to be used during the time interval, and loading data pertaining to individual credentials in the subset into the memory utilized by the emulator.
