The present invention relates to dressings such as bandages or tapes improved extensibility. The present invention further relates to dressings such as bandages or tapes which are extensible so as to at least partially conform to a body contour at wound surface upon stretching of the dressing.

An applicator device capable of housing an insertable element includes a plunger member that is slideably engaged with the insertion member and has an insertion end and a gripper end. The first preferential bending axis is substantially collinear with the second preferential bending axis within the flange portion.

The present invention is directed to a sanitary napkin having flaps folded onto the topsheet of the napkin and held in this position by a unitary bridging strip. Each of these flaps has an adhesive area that is used to attach the flap to the undergarment. A release strip covers each such adhesive area. These release strips and the bridging strip each contain a cohesive layer whereby a cohesive bond is formed between the bridging strip and each release strip thereby holding the flaps in their folded position.

The present invention is a transparent deodorant cosmetic stick product with at least 3.5% by weight of the formulation being an alkali metal bicarbonate. The product contains about 1.25% to about 6.5% of a polyamine as a mandatory clarifying component. Other required components of the formulation are a polyhydric alcohol, a C.sub.14-22 fatty acid salt, of a clarifier surfactant, and less than about 42% by weight water.
