A height adjustable table is disclosed, comprising at least one electrically height adjustable table column and a control device, wherein the height adjustable table comprises an operating element with at least one fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, a method is disclosed by which the height adjustable table can be controlled using the fingerprint of a user.

A device for controlling height-adjustable tables, wherein a plurality of tables is connected to said device. The use of this device allows all tables that are connected to the device to be controlled using only one control unit that is also connected to said device. Accordingly, equipping each table with a separate control unit is rendered superfluous by this device. This makes the entire design simpler and more cost-effective.

A circuit controls a height-adjustable table. A current load acts on the table plate and is measured by a force-sensitive sensor and serves as control signal of a control according to the invention. Derived from this signal, a collision of the electrically height-adjustable table with fixed objects is recognized. Control signals are also detected, which are inputted by an operator of the table in the form of applications of force onto the table plate. Here, the table or respectively the control device is situated in a state of rest until the user of the table exerts a brief force impulse onto the table plate, i.e. presses once onto the table plate. Thereafter, the control changes from a state of rest into an operating state and waits for control inputs. When the user now presses from above onto the table plate, the latter moves electrically downwards.

A height adjustable furniture piece includes a device for connecting a belt to the furniture piece. The device includes two support elements, each including a first extension member and a second extension member that is telescopically arranged with respect to the first extension member. The belt is fixed to the first extension member and a spring element connects the belt and the first extension member. The belt is deflected by pulleys such that a relative displacement between the first extension member and the second extension member of the first support element results in a synchronous relative displacement between the first extension member and the second extension member of the second support element. The spring element includes a spring force that assists lifting of the second extension member against the force of gravity.

An adjustable gas pressure spring includes a gas pressure spring portion, a gas reservoir and a connecting means fluidically connecting the gas reservoir and the gas pressure spring portion with each other. A side window roller blind is provided. The roller blind includes a support rod having a free end connected to a tension bar. In order to prevent rattling noises, the ends of the tension bar are provided with rollers that contact the window pane such that the support rod is elastically bent during extension of the blind. In addition, the window blind is provided with aligning aids that prevent the tension bar from hitting on the slot edges during retraction of the blind, and from blocking additional retraction, due to vibrations about the longitudinal axis of the tension bar.

A spring motor having a pot shaped housing in which a flat spiral spring is housed. The flat spiral spring is connected at one outer end to the pot-shaped housing while the inner end is coupled to a shaft or axle. To prevent radial vibrations of individual spring layers when the spring motor is wound or unwound, a damping plate is housed in the pot-shaped housing and held in pressed engagement with a side edge of the flat spiral spring. This spring motor can be combined with the wind-up shaft of roller-blind arrangements for motor vehicles, including fixed roller blinds, storage-area covers, or separating screens.

A roll-up sunroof shade is provided that includes two guide rails running along the sides of the shade sheet. The shade sheet is cut wider than corresponds to the clear distance between the guide rails. While being pulled out, the shade sheet is forced by an appropriate geometry at the inlet end of the guide rails to form a tube-like loop around a piping member that moves along with it. Due to the wrapping of the piping member, the shade sheet is held in place perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the guide rail.

A roll-up window shade for motor vehicle windows is provided that has guide rails running at the side of the extended shade element. A linear push element is provided for each guide rail. Each push element is driven by a separate gear. Therefore, complicated guide tubes, which among other problems generate a lot of friction, are eliminated. A trunk cover has a guide rail on each side of the shade element. For driving the shade element, a push element is provided for each guide rail. The push element is constructed as a non-endless drive element. Each push element is driven by a separate motor and a separate gear. Electrical synchronization of the motors is not provided.

A side window roll-up shade which has a pull rod attached to a movable edge of a roll-up shade material. The pull rod is carried by two support rods which are guided so that they can move vertically within the door body. At the bottom end of each support rod, a cable is attached, which runs either to a spring motor or to a cable pulley.
