A method for automated processing of a sample using a first pipette tip container () having a first pipette tip comprises the steps of: removing the first pipette tip () from the first pipette tip container (); feeding the sample into the first pipette tip container (); processing the sample in the first pipette tip container (). A rack () comprises at least one first pipette tip container () having a first pipette tip (), wherein the rack () comprises means for identifying an alignment of an orientation of the rack () in a rack receptacle of an apparatus for automated processing of a sample. A transport arrangement comprises at least two racks (), wherein at least one bottom region of a pipette tip container () of a first rack () is in direct contact with a releasable covering, in particular a tear-off film of a second rack ().

Sample processing

A fluid delivery device includes at least one area onto which at least one support element having at least one well may be placed in a defined position. The fluid delivery device further includes at least one pipetting device having a connector configured to releasably connect the at least one pipetting device with a disposable tip and with a fluid displacement element which enables aspiration and ejection of a defined volume of liquid to or from the disposable tip. The at least one pipetting element is movable in a vertical and preferably in at least one horizontal direction. The fluid delivery device also includes a blowing element that has at least one aperture coupled to a source of pressurized gas and is movable in a vertical and preferably at least one horizontal direction. A system includes such a fluid delivery device and the at least one support element.

Activating device for screw caps

The present application relates to a device for extracting volatile components from a sample received in a sample vessel, wherein the sample vessel is closed in a gas-tight manner. The device moreover has a discharge line and a supply line, which protrude into the sample vessel. The supply line comprises a first valve with which a flow of gas through the supply line can be throttled and/or interrupted. A suction opening of a pump is fluidically connected to the discharge line via a first fluid line, such that the pressure conditions in the device can be controlled by the capacity of the pump and by the setting of the first valve. A second fluid line fluidically connects the supply line to an output opening of the pump, such that sample vessel, supply line, discharge line and pump form a closed gas circuit. A trap element with at least one sorption material is fluidically connected to the first fluid line or the second fluid line.

In a method for performing a solid-phase micro-extraction, a holding device connected to an extraction device and secured on an adapter is held, while an actuating device connected to a guide device is moved. A device for performing a solid-phase microextraction comprises an actuating device connected to a guide device, and a holding device connected to an extraction device, wherein the extraction device is guided at least partially in the guide device, and wherein the extraction device is movable relative to the guide device by means of an actuation of the actuating device.

The invention relates to a current collectorfor a devicethat can be displaced with and against the driving direction F along a conductor line, comprising a current collector cartfor the guided displacement along a guide elementof the conductor line, and an energy transmission system. At least one bending-stiff support pipe which surrounds the weighing cell in the area of the bellows or hose is placed in the interior of the bellows or hose.
