Disclosed is a method for evaluating an index of exposure to ultraviolet radiation of an eye of a wearer equipped with spectacles including at least one eyeglass, including the following steps: &#x2014;determining the area of a portion of the back face of the eyeglass, which portion is directly exposed to exterior radiation when the wearer is wearing the spectacles; &#x2014;determining a value representative of the exposure to ultraviolet radiation of at least one environment frequented by the wearer; and &#x2014;determining the index of exposure depending on the determined area and the determined value. An associated system is also described.

Method for optimizing a Fresnel optical lens

Method for determining optical equipment comprising at least one optical lens and a spectacle frame. Wearer data relating to the wearer's optical requirements, wearer's face morphology and optical equipment position on the wearer face are provided. An optical cost function is provided related to an optical function of the at least one optical lens when worn by said wearer. A light protection cost function is provided related to a spectral irradiance estimation over the wearer eye and/or wearer skin in a peri-orbital zone of the wearer eye under a given condition when said optical equipment is worn by said wearer. Ophthalmic anti-somnolence lens, device and method

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for determining an ophthalmic lens. In one implementation, three-dimensional coordinates of a center of rotation of the wearer's eye measured on the wearer in binocular vision are received. At least one direction of gaze measured in a natural posture and a determined position of the ophthalmic lens are received. Characteristics of the ophthalmic lens are calculated by using the coordinates measured for the center of rotation of the eye, the determined position of the lens, and the at least one direction of gaze measured in a natural posture. The characteristics of the ophthalmic lens are calculated by positioning a starting ophthalmic lens in the determined position and modifying the starting ophthalmic lens by wavefront analysis and/or optimizing using ray tracing dependent on the coordinates measured for the center of rotation of the eye and the determined position of the lens.
