Systems, methods and program products for administering and modifying a simulation that incorporates the use of biometric data collection and computer-based predictive modeling techniques to reliably identify changes in the stress level of simulation participants while predictively adapting the simulation environment to manage each participants' stress levels within a pre-set or desired range. Each participant may have their biometric data collected and continuously monitored by wearing a computing device comprising biometric sensors, camera systems and audio recording devices. As the participants biometric data changes, the system monitors the participant for changes in stress level and maintains a desired stress level in the participant by modifying the adjustable properties of one or more virtual objects or computer-accessible real physical objects of the simulation environment to increase or decrease the stress level of the simulation on participants.

Dynamically adjustable training simulation

A method and system are provided. The method includes performing, by at least a computer processing system having a hardware processor, a particulate mapping process to predict particulate exposure at a target location based on an estimated particulate source, an estimated particulate source output, and a fine-grained weather forecast for the target location. The performing step includes estimating the target location using a fine-grained weather hindcast and inverse modelling. The performing step further includes generating observations of particulate exposure for one or more specific particulates, using a set of particulate sensors.

Personalized particulate matter exposure management using fine-grained weather modeling and optimal control theory

Software that contextualizes communications during an event by performing the following steps: (i) receiving an input communication from a first user, where the input communication includes input information relating to the event; (ii) receiving first user contextual information, where the first user contextual information pertains to an emotional state of the first user at the time the input communication was received; (iii) determining an output communication based, at least in part, on the received first user contextual information, where the output communication includes output information relating to the event; and (iv) sending the output communication to a first recipient.

Cognitive contextualization of emergency management system communications

A system to mitigate weather exposure risk includes a processor operatively coupled to memory. The processor is configured to generate predicted energy consumption based on a model for expected energy usage in response to detection of a weather event, and compare the predicted energy consumption data with energy consumption data. An alert is generated based at least in part on the comparison, and the alert is sent to one or more entities over one or more networks via one or more delivery methods.
