A tire pressure monitoring system includes tire pressure sensors installed within vehicle tires, a receiver, an alerting device, an electronic input/output device and an electronic controller. The receiver receives tire pressure signals from the tire pressure sensors, The electronic input/output device provides manual input of instruction and data. The electronic controller is configured to monitor tire pressure and in response to tire pressure in each of vehicle tires achieving a change from a first preset tire pressure to a second preset tire pressure the alerting device is operated to alert a person changing the tire pressure that the change has been achieved. The first preset tire pressure corresponds to paved road driving conditions and the second preset tire pressure corresponds to off-road driving conditions.

An electronic controller of a vehicle is in electronic communication with lamp cover condition sensors, a headlamp switch, an off-road lamp switch and an electronic display. The electronic controller is configured to turn on the off-road lamp device in response to the off-road lamp switch being switched to the on condition and further in response to each of a plurality of predetermined conditions being met, the electronic controller further being configured to prevent the off-road lamp device from turning on in response to the off-road lamp switch being switched to the on condition and further in response to at least one of the plurality of predetermined conditions not being met, the predetermined conditions including at least a determination that the removable lamp cover of the off-road device has been removed, and a determination that the headlamp switch is in the second operating condition.

Vehicle component control assembly

A re-configurable center console assembly includes a center console assembly and a phone holder tray. The center console assembly has a main body that includes a first side wall and a second side wall defining a concaved storage area therebetween. The first side wall and the second side wall further define a plurality of retaining positions therebetween. The phone holder tray has a first side portion, a phone supporting portion and a second side portion. The first side portion is configured to manually attach, detach and re-attach to the first side wall. The second side portion is also configured to attach, detach and re-attach to the second side wall such that the phone holder tray is installed to a first of the plurality of retaining positions and is detachable and re-attachable to a second of the plurality of retaining positions.

Re-configurable center console assembly

A vehicle center console trim assembly includes a console body and a cover. The console body includes a first side section and a ledge extending laterally from the first side section along a lower body portion of the console body. The cover is coupled to the console body and overlies a side surface of the first side section to form a side pocket between the cover and the side surface of the first side section with the ledge defining a bottom surface of the side pocket. The cover includes an upper cover portion that extends along an upper body portion of the console body, which is spaced above the lower body portion of the console body, with the upper cover portion concealing the ledge of the first side section of the console body from view in a downward vehicle looking direction from a location above the console body.

Vehicle center console trim assembly

A vehicle interior trim assembly comprises first, second and third trim members. The first trim member has a first surface which includes a first mounting structure. The second trim member is positioned adjacent to the first trim member such that a first peripheral edge of the first trim member faces a second peripheral edge of the second trim member. The third trim member is more elastic than the first and second trim members and is coupled to and at least partially overlays the second trim member. The third trim member has a second surface including a second mounting structure, and a third peripheral edge of the third trim member extends beyond the second peripheral edge of the second trim member such that the second mounting structure of the third trim member engages the first mounting structure of the first trim member.

A reconfigurable console reinforcement bracket includes a first frame and first and second extension arms. In a first configuration, the first extension arm is connected to a first lateral side of the first frame at a first longitudinal end of the first frame and the second extension arm is connected to a second lateral side of the first frame at the first longitudinal end of the first frame such that the first and second extension arms extend beyond the first longitudinal end. In a second configuration, the first extension arm is connected to the first lateral side of the first frame at the second longitudinal end of the first frame and the second extension arm is connected to the second lateral side of the first frame at the second longitudinal end of the first frame such that the first and second extension arms extend beyond the second longitudinal end.

Embodiments of interior vehicle panel assemblies are disclosed herein. One embodiment disclosed herein comprises a first panel having an exterior surface, an interior surface and a first edge and a second panel having an exterior surface, an interior surface and a second edge. The second edge of the second panel is aligned with the first edge of the first panel to define a gap having a height between the first edge of the first panel and the second edge of the second panel. A projection extends from one of the first and second panels in a position inward from the exterior surface and toward the respective edge of other of the first and second panels to span at least a portion of the height of the gap.

Disclosed herein are a vehicle console and a latching system for a vehicle console with dual latch differentiation. The latching system comprises at least one lid pivotally attached to the console to move between a closed position and an open position relative to the opening. First and second latches are mounted to the lid. The first latch is configured to detach the lid from the first coupling to permit the lid to move to the open position while still attached to the secondary compartment, thereby exposing the primary compartment. The second latch is configured to detach the lid from both the first coupling and second coupling to permit the lid to move to the open position, detached from the secondary compartment. The first and second latches each comprise a hand engageable contact surface and the contact surface of one of the first and second latches comprises a tactile differentiator.

Console lid dual latch differentiation

Disclosed herein are interior vehicle surfaces having a substrate and a covering having imposed thereon a decorative pattern. The covering is applied to the substrate oriented so that a segment of the decorative pattern forms an angle of less than ninety degrees with a visual reference line. Application of the covering includes determining a visual reference line with respect to the interior vehicle surface to be covered, rotating the covering less than ninety degrees such that a segment of the pattern originally parallel to the visual reference line is now angled with respect to the visual reference line and applying the rotated covering to the interior vehicle surface.
