A pocket wall file apparatus that is aesthetically pleasing, structurally effective, and cost efficient. The apparatus consists of identical pocket modules having no removable parts. A hidden interconnection structure on the back wall of each pocket module is used for attaching one or more pocket modules together adjacent to and, regardless of the number of interconnected modules, flush with a supporting wall. The interconnection structure consists of mating hook and aperture portions. Beneficially, only three screws are needed to mount any number of pocket modules to a wall. An uppermost module is hung on two screws and the lowermost module rests upon a third screw. Any other interconnected modules are supported below and above the uppermost and lowermost modules through the hidden interconnection structure.

A locking accessory bracket for use with an accessory standard. A locking accessory bracket that may be used with an accessory standard that essentially comprises a flat, straight elongated body portion having a multiplicity of identical, spatially positioned, upwardly projecting, L-shaped hook members located on either side thereof. The locking accessory bracket comprises a flat mounting plate and a hook plate made integral therewith. The hook plate has a plurality of identical, spatially positioned, downwardly projecting, L-shaped hook members, for detachable engagement with desired ones of the multiplicity of upwardly projecting hook members of the accessory standard. The improvement comprises a locking member that is rotatably mounted at a topmost portion of the hook plate. When downwardly projecting hook members of the hook plate are detachably engaged with corresponding ones of the multiplicity of upwardly projecting hook members of the accessory standard, the locking member abuts a bottom portion of an upwardly projecting hook member immediately adjacent to a topmost downwardly projecting hook member of the hook plate. Thus, the position of the locking member substantially inhibits removal of the mounting plate from the accessory standard.

An apparatus is provided for mounting a coat rack, bookshelf or the like to a wall panel. The apparatus includes a pair of side supports which support opposing ends of the coat racks, bookshelves or the like. The apparatus is provided with a mounting mechanism which allows the apparatus to mount to either a top edge of the wall panel or to a set of slotted standards on a front surface of the wall panel. One of two specific mounting mechanisms are provided. The first, an L-shaped bracket, allows the apparatus to be mounted over the top edge of the wall panel. The second, a V-shaped hook plate, allows the apparatus to be mounted into slotted standards. Thus, a single pair of side supports accommodates either mounting arrangement. A leveling mechanism is also provided for leveling the apparatus.
