The invention relates to a breech for a repeating rifle with a breech guide, a locking chamber arranged in the breech guide, and a locking sleeve that is arranged concentrically about a rear part of the locking chamber and that has several locking elements that can be moved by an expansion device between an inner unlocked position and an outer locked position for engaging in a locking groove of a barrel. The expansion device has, according to the invention, a support sleeve that can move in the axial direction between the rear of the locking chamber and the locking sleeve.

Breech for a repeating rifle and barrel for such a breech

The invention concerns an insertion magazine () for a small arm, in particular, a repeating rifle. The insertion magazine () is characterized in that a trigger unit () with a trigger guard () and a trigger () is mounted on its underside in such a manner that the trigger unit () is removable together with the insertion magazine () from the small arm.

The invention relates to a repeating weapon, especially to a repeating rifle, with a cartridge chamber and a bolt block, which contains a bolt that can move relative to the cartridge chamber and that can be locked by means of a locking device in a closed position. For improving the safety against elevated gas pressure, the cartridge chamber is embodied such that a cartridge can be pushed completely into the cartridge chamber and the cartridge chamber has a rear sealing surface sealing flush with the case bottom of the cartridge for contacting a breech block on a front bolt head of the bolt.

The invention pertains to a firing mechanism for a small arm, particularly a rifle, with a trigger () that can be pivoted about a trigger axis (), with a trigger rod () that is displaceably arranged within a housing () and serves for respectively retaining and releasing a prestressed firing pin (), and with an articulated lever () that is arranged within the housing () such that it can be pivoted about a pivot axis () and is connected in an articulated fashion to the trigger rod (), with said articulated lever being connected to the trigger () via the trigger rod (). The resistance of the trigger can be easily changed without requiring significant constructive modifications if the articulated lever () that is connected in an articulated fashion to the trigger rod () has an upwardly protruding catch () that engages into a lower latching groove () on the trigger () in a cocked position of the firing mechanism, with the latching groove () being provided with an oblique stopping face () for a front edge () of the catch ().

Small arm firing mechanism

The invention relates to a device for mounting a telescopic sight onto a weapon. The device is equipped with two mounting feet, which are positioned at a distance from one another and provided with mounting elements for engaging in corresponding receiving openings on the weapon. The aim of the invention is to enable the sight to be positioned accurately without the need for a complex adjustment and fitting process. To achieve this, the mounting elements are configured by clamping bolts, which comprise laterally protruding lugs, are contained in the corresponding mounting feet and can be rotated through a release and locking position. The lugs can be inserted into recesses between inward-facing projecting shoulders of the receiving openings in the release position of the clamping bolts and engage with the underside of the projecting shoulders in the locked position of the bolts.

Device for mounting a telescopic sight on a weapon

In order to secure firearms against unauthorized use, an insert is inserted into a portion of the barrel, which insert has an expandable sleeve. A first expanding device is releasably inserted into one end of the expandable sleeve to thus press lockingly against the inside wall of the barrel. A second expanding device is inserted into the other end of the expandable sleeve. When an axial pressure is applied to the second expanding device, the expandable sleeve engages the inside wall of the barrel. The one end of the expandable sleeve is covered with a protective plate which can only be destroyed by spark erosion when the expandable sleeve is removed from the barrel.

Safety mechanism for preventing unauthorized use of a firearm

A rotatable breech mechanism includes a bolt rotatably supported in a chamber housing by a bolt handle, and which in one rotated position thereof is locked to a barrel chamber sleeve and in a further rotated position thereof is unlocked from the sleeve. A spring-loaded extractor is arranged at a front end of the bolt. The extractor, in one rotated position of the bolt, grips an edge of a bottom of a sleeve of a cartridge inserted into a cartridge chamber, whereby upon a rotation of the bolt from the one position into a further position the chamber housing with the bolt automatically carries out a movement away from the cartridge chamber during which the extractor releases the cartridge from the cartridge chamber. The chamber housing supports an axially movable pin which is supported at its front end on the barrel chamber sleeve. In one rotated position of the bolt, a rear end of the pin is received in a forwardly open recess of a shoulder surface on the bolt handle, and upon a rotation of the bolt out of the one position the rear end of the pin slides out of the recess onto the shoulder surface, and the chamber housing with the bolt is movable to a rearward position.

Rotatable breech mechanism

In the breech mechanism for a firearm the receiver (2) attached to the barrel has a radially inwardly directed conical locking shoulder (16). A breech head (9) and a locking sleeve (7) are arranged in a slider (3) slidable relative to the breech housing (1) in the barrel direction. The locking sleeve (7) is divided into a plurality of spring tongues (7b), each of which carries a locking element (13) with radially inwardly and outwardly directed cone sections. A spreading cone is arranged in the vicinity of the front end (9a) of the breech head (9) and cooperates with the locking elements (13). An actuating lever (18) is arranged on the slider, connected to a pivot shaft (17). The pivot shaft (17) is connected to a locking lever (19). A two-armed intermediate lever (20) is pivotally mounted on the slider (3) behind the locking lever (19), pivoting about an axis (20a) parallel to the pivot shaft (17) and cooperating with an abutment (22) arranged on the breech housing (1). The free end (19a) of the locking lever (19) so cooperates with the first lever arm (21) of the intermediate lever (20) that, on sliding the slider forwards, the first lever arm (21) comes into position between the abutment (22) and the free end (19a) and the free end (19a) can move over a dead center position defined by the connecting line between the point of engagement of the first lever arm (21) with the abutment (22) and the center of the pivot shaft (17).

Breech mechanism for a firearm, especially a repeater weapon

The firing mechanism for a rifle comprises a trigger (2) fixed to a trigger blade (4) and a two-armed firing lever (5) pivoting in the breech housing, the first lever arm (5a) being directly or indirectly connected to a firing sear (7) which holds a retainer (10) on the end (11a) of the firing pin in the cocked position, whereby the firing spring exerts a turning moment on the firing lever (5) in the cocked position, through the firing pin, the retainer (10) and the firing sear (7). A link (13) is hinged at one end to the trigger blade (4) and at the other end to the second lever arm (5b) by means of two hinge axes (14, 15) running parallel to the trigger axis (3). The first hinge axis (14) at the trigger blade is so arranged relative to the second hinge axis (15) at the second lever arm (5b) that, in the cocked position (FIGS. 2, 4, 6) of the firing mechanism, the link (13) is in compression, and the second hinge axis (15) lies a small distance (a) from a straight connecting line (V) running through the first hinge axis (14) and the trigger axis (3). Accordingly, on cocking the second hinge axis (15) is moved slightly over-center beyond a dead-point position of the link (13) determined by the connecting line (V). A stop (16) is provided on the trigger blade (4) which stop limits the over-center movement of the link (13) and on which the link (13) bears in the cocked position under the action of the turning moment (M).

Firing mechanism for a rifle

The mounting device for a telescopic sight on a rifle comprises a mounting bridge (5) which carries a holder (6) for the telescopic sight and on one side at each of the front and the rear ends a fixed jaw (10) and on the opposite side two movable jaws (14) movable transverse to the mounting bridge (5). The receiver (2) of the barrel comprises two blind bores (3) running substantially radially relative to the barrel axis and offset from one another in the direction of the barrel axis (A) . Opposite each blind bore (3), on the other side of the barrel, there is provided an approximately half-moon shaped notch (4), the bottom surface (4a) of which running in the barrel direction forms a clamping surface for a movable jaw (13, 14). The two fixed jaws (10)each comprise a cylindrical retaining pin (11) which fits in one of the blind bores (3). Each movable jaw consists of a pivoting lever (13) with a locking nose (14). The pivoting lever (13) is fixedly connected to a threaded pin (15), which is axially movable in a bore (16) in the mounting bridge (5) running substantially tangentially to the peripheral surface of the receiver (2) and can be screwed into a nut (17) fixed in the mounting bridge (5).

The breech mechanism for a firearm is provided with a breech housing, a locking head connected to the barrel and having a radially inwardly directed conical locking shoulder oriented rearwardly of a cartridge carrier, and a substantially cylindrical breech block movable relative to the breech housing in a direction toward and away from the barrel. A locking sleeve concentrically surrounding the breech block and axially slidable relative thereto to a limited degree, is divided at its front end by a plurality of longitudinal slots into a plurality of spring tongues and carries at the free, front end of each spring tongue a locking element formed in one piece therewith and in the form of an annular segment. Each locking element has a radially outwardly directed cone segment bearing on the locking shoulder in a locking position and having on its front end a radially inwardly directed cone segment with which it bears on a spreading cone arranged in the vicinity of the front end of the breech block. There is further provided an actuating device which, with the breech closed, pushes the locking sleeve axially forwards relative to the breech block.
