In a gel-like mass having natural or synthetic polymers, preferably polygalactomannans, at least one cross-linking agent and further ingredients, according to this invention that the at least one cross-linking agent is of amphiphilic core-shell nanoparticles. This invention further refers to a method for producing a gel-like mass, a composition for producing a gel-like mass comprising natural or synthetic polymers, preferably polygalactomannans and amphiphilic core-shell nanoparticles and the use of a gel-like mass as drug delivery system for topical medication.

A malleable compound according to the invention for use as a disinfectant comprises water, 25 to 40% by weight of a solvent component comprising low-molecular, water-miscible alcohols, 1 to 10% by weight of an active bactericidal component, 3 to 6% by weight hydroxypropylated polygalactomannan with an etherification level of between 0.3 and 1.5 and 0.1 to 0.5% by weight boracic acid or an equivalent amount of boron ions.

Method for disinfecting surfaces

The invention relates to an agent for removing solid particles form surfaces, containing polymers, surfactants and other constituents. The above-mentioned polymers are naturally polygalactomanans. The agent exists in the form of a gel and runs together or can be mixed together so that the contaminated particles are embedded in the material and new surfaces are formed for receiving other contaminated particles. The invention also relates to the use of agents such as gel cleaners, cold cleaners, neutral cleaners, textile cleaners, disinfectives and/or technical cleaners.
