A device for supporting a roller bearing housing of a double-roll crusher is provided, wherein each roller has a fixed bearing with a non-self-aligning design and a floating bearing with a non-self-aligning design, and wherein at least one load distribution element is arranged between the machine frame of the double-roll crusher and the housing of each roller bearing. The at least one load distribution element has at least two elastic, spatially separated individual elements, with at least one recess between the individual elements providing a spatial separation in the vertical direction.

The present invention relates to a wear-resistant hard body that includes, at least partially, a high-strength, iron-based alloy, and preferably includes an external shell or sleeve made of another material. The hard body can be made by casting a molten iron-based alloy into the shell or the sleeve. The iron-based alloy can be an FeCrMoVC alloy. The shell or sleeve can be made of steel, copper, or a copper alloy. Methods for producing the wear-resistant hard body or for producing hard bodies or side-wear protection elements for a roller of a roller press are also disclosed. A two-roller roll press, with a machine frame, has two rollers, which have shaft journals at respective axial ends of the rollers for mounting in a bearing construction. At least one of the rollers is mounted at one or both shaft journals in a thrust bearing construction. The thrust bearing construction has a thrust bearing, a thrust bearing housing ring, an outer thrust bearing cap and a bearing cap. The thrust bearing is shrunk onto a shaft journal. The thrust bearing housing ring and the bearing cap are detachably connected into one unit, which is in turn fastened detachably to the thrust bearing cap, which is in turn detachably fastened to the bearing housing.

A closing element for a machine frame of a rolling press, that sits on the end of a frame element as a hasp. The closing element includes an element enabling a pendular motion on the frame element. In this way, floating mounting of the closing element is achieved. This enables a very fast dismounting that facilitates the replacement of the rolls, and leads to an optimum arrangement of the closing elements on corresponding end pieces of the machine frame.

The at least one connecting element has a U-shaped design forming two limbs. With this design, the frame can be constructed with smaller dimensions than current constructions and in one piece, because no releasable connections are necessary with this configuration of the machine frame. This design saves weight.

A roller press for the pressure treatment or compaction of granular material, having at least two rolls formed as freely rotating rolls, in each case rotatably mounted in a machine frame by a shaft, driven in opposite directions and separated from one another by a roll gap. The shafts of the rolls are accommodated in bearing housings movably mounted in the machine frame and in each case two bearing housings arranged on one side of the rolls and belonging to different rolls are connected to each other via at least one pressure cylinder. The connection between the bearing housings in each case has at least one torque balance. In this way, the structure of a roller press having roller centering is simplified and can be produced more cost-effectively.

In order to create a roller press, particularly for comminuting a bed of material, the roller press having two rollers separated from each other by a roller nip and using hydraulic cylinders to press the one roller against the oppositely situated roller over the material situated in the roller nip, the stress on the surface of the rollers to be reduced and their service life to be increased, it is proposed according to the invention that both rollers are designed as loose rollers that are displaceable transversely relative to the roller nip, the bearing housings of the rollers being supported on side parts of the machine frame by hydraulic cylinders that apply the roller compaction pressure.

A method for the production of an annular casing for the press rollers of roller presses for the pressure comminution of particulate material, the outer surface of which casing always has a high degree of hardness and consequently a high wear-resisting capability, but the radially inner region of which casing has a lower degree of hardness to avoid casing ruptures. The annular casing is cast of nodular cast iron with at least the alloying elements Ni and Mo. The cast body is given a bainitic structure with residual austenite by a subsequent heat treatment followed by controlled cooling. The outer surface is constantly re-hardened during use via pressure loading such that martensite is constantly formed in boundary layers of the outer surface.

A tandem roller press has two roll pairs which are arranged next to one another in an axially parallel manner in order to provide a roller press system, in particular for the material bed comminution of granular material, which can considerably exceed previous limits with regard to throughput performance but also with regard to the specific energy requirement. Preferably, common feeding of the granular material and common discharge of the material which has been subjected to the material bed comminution are arranged. A tandem separator device may be arranged below the two roll pairs in order to form two parallel compact milling circuits with a high throughput performance overall.
