A switchable mount includes a partition wall which partitions a working chamber from a compensating chamber. A first diaphragm is arranged in the partition wall so as to be deflectable in the longitudinal direction of the mount. A switching actuator controls the diaphragm and, in a first state thereof, the diaphragm is fixed in a rest position and, in a second state thereof, the diaphragm is released to move in the longitudinal direction of the mount. A second diaphragm is arranged in the partition wall and is deflected in the longitudinal direction of the mount to influence the volume of the working chamber. An air chamber is arranged between the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm. In the first state of the actuator, the air chamber is closed off air-tight to the atmosphere and, in the second current-conducting state of the actuator, is connected to the atmosphere.

Engine mount for a motor vehicle

A switchable, hydraulic damping mount includes a work chamber filled with hydraulic fluid and a compensation chamber connected to the work chamber via a channel. A partition wall mutually separates the chambers. A ferromagnetic diaphragm is arranged in the partition wall and is deflectable. An electromagnetic switching actuator has a deenergized state and an energized state and controls the diaphragm. The switching actuator applies a magnetic holding force to the diaphragm and fixes the diaphragm in a rest position when the switching actuator is in the deenergized state and reduces the magnetic holding force to such an extent that the diaphragm is enabled for movement in the longitudinal direction of the mount when the switching actuator is in the energized state.

Motor mount for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a bearing, in particular a chassis bearing for the rear axle of a motor vehicle, with an outer bearing sleeve, an inner bearing sleeve, at least one elastomer body arranged between the outer and inner bearing sleeves and two chambers which are arranged laterally opposite each other on the outer bearing sleeve. The chambers each have an adjusting element. The adjusting elements are displaceable. When subjected to pressure, the adjusting elements are displaced inwardly against the inner bearing sleeve. The adjusting elements can be clamped in their axial position by clamping rings which can be reduced in size radially, for example by means of air pressure. The inner bearing sleeve is thereby fixed and the rigidity of the bearing increased.

Bearing

A work chamber is filled with a hydraulic liquid and is disposed between the legs of the spring body of a hydraulic radial bearing. The work chamber is connected to a compensating chamber via a transfer channel. The desired absorption of disturbing noises in the region of 130 Hz is obtained with a special dimensioning of the cross-sectional area of the work chamber, the dynamic swell stiffness of the spring body and the length (L) and the total cross-sectional area (A) of the transfer channel. The ratio of the effective cross-sectional area (A) of the work chamber to the cross-sectional area (A) of the channel lies preferably between 0.1 and 10 while the ratio of the length (L) of the transfer channel to the total cross-sectional area (A) of the transfer channel is in the range of 0.1 to 4.0.
