An automotive vehicle having (a) a pane with a refractive index, n1, (b) a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) device located in the interior environment and facing the inner surface of the pane, and (c) an anti-reflection unit, made of a material of refractive index, n3, coupling the LiDAR device to the inner surface of the transparent pane, and having a mean absorption coefficient (k) in the wavelength range from 750 nm to 1650 nm lower than 5 m(i.e., k≤5 m). The anti-reflection unit also has an interfacial surface coupled in intimate contact with the inner surface of the transparent pane and a surface coupled to the LiDAR device, forming the angle θ with the interfacial surface and which normal forms the angle φ, with the incident axis (i0), where φ is between −30° and +30°.

LiDAR assembly for automotive applications comprising an anti reflection unit

A glass to be installed in a vehicle includes: a glass member; a colored ceramic layer provided in a predetermined region of the glass member; an opening portion for information acquisition, provided with one or more sides in contact with the colored ceramic layer in plan view; and a plate-shaped member overlapping the opening portion, and extending outside from each of the one or more sides to overlap the colored ceramic layer, wherein the one or more sides include a top side that becomes an upper side upon installing the glass in the vehicle, and wherein the overlapping amount between the colored ceramic layer and the plate-shaped member on the outside of the top side is greater than or equal to 3.5 mm.

A detection device with an optical device comprising at least one light source and at least one light sensitive element optically decoupled inside the detection device. A protective housing encloses the optical device. An optical cover comprising an internal surface facing the optical device and an external surface opposite to the internal surface, wherein the optical cover is transparent at the operating wavelength of the optical device, and comprises at least two separate apertures. A first aperture faces the light source and a second aperture faces the light sensitive element. The optical cover is one piece comprised of diffusing, absorbing, multilayer elements, and/or wavelength-changing elements placed between the first and second apertures in an optical decoupling zone outside the field of view of the light source and the sensitive element to avoid the stray light travelling from the light source to the sensitive element within the optical cover.

A laminated glazing with an optically transparent area including at least one inner and one outer glass sheet, each having an internal and an external face, and being high level of near infrared radiation transmission glass sheets, at least one thermoplastic interlayer to laminate the at least the inner and the outer glass sheets, including at least a first zone and a second zone, the second zone being delimited by the optically transparent area, and at least one optical sensor device provided on the inner face of the inner pane integrated in the optically transparent area. The thermoplastic interlayer further includes a second zone delimited by the optically transparent area where the laminated glazing has a value of infrared transmission TIR1 higher than the value of infrared transmission TIR2 of the first zone for the working wavelengths of the optical device.

The invention concerns a laminated glazing with an optically transparent area () comprising (i) at least one inner () and one outer () glass sheets, each having an internal and an external faces, and being high level of near infrared radiation transmission glass sheets, (ii) at least one thermoplastic interlayer () to laminate the at least the inner and the outer glass sheets, comprising at least a first zone () and a second zone (), the second zone () being delimited by the optically transparent area (), and (iii) at least ne optical sensor device () provided on the inner face of the inner pane integrated in the optically transparent area (). According to the present invention, the thermoplastic interlayer comprises a second zone () delimited by the optically transparent area where the laminated glazing has a value of infrared transmission TIR1 higher than the value of infrared transmission TIR2 of the first zone () for the working wavelengths of the optical device.
