An epoxy resin composition is provided. The epoxy resin composition includes 80-100 parts by weight of a thermal curable epoxy resin, and 0.1-20 parts by weight of a branched rubber copolymer. The branched rubber copolymer includes a rubber polymer serving as a main portion, and a polymer composed of polyethylene glycol (PEG), derivatives of polyethylene glycol, polycaprolactone (PCL), derivatives of polycaprolactone, or a combination thereof serving as a branched chain.

Epoxy resin composition

A self-assembly coating material including carbon particles and polymer shells is provided. The polymer shells respectively cover and are bonded to the carbon particles, wherein each polymer shell has both a first functional group for adsorbing on a surface of a substrate and a second functional group for self cross-linking. The first functional groups include thiol groups. The second functional groups include epoxy groups or carboxylic groups. The self-assembly coating material can be applied to a metal substrate to form a heat dissipation layer.

An olefin-metathesis catalyst is provided. The olefin-metathesis catalyst includes a magnetic carrier, a polymer having formula (I) grafted on the magnetic carrier, and a ruthenium complex loaded on the polymer. A method for preparing low-molecular-weight nitrile butadiene rubber is also provided.  In formula (I), one of X, Y and Z is nitrogen atom, the others are carbon atoms, R1 and R2, independently, include hydrogen, ester group, C1-10 alkyl group, C3-8 cycloalkyl group, 4-ring to 8-ring heterocycloalkyl or C6-10 aryl group, R3 includes hydrogen or C1-10 alkyl group, m ranges from 10 to 2,000, and n ranges from 0 to 1,000.

Olefin-metathesis catalysts and method for preparing low-molecular-weight nitrile butadiene rubber

A capacitor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. Two electrodes are disposed opposite to each other. Two electrode protection layers are respectively disposed on inner sides of the electrodes and include carbon particles each covered and bonded with a polymer shell. Active carbon layers are disposed on opposite inner sides of the electrode protection layers. The separator is disposed between the active carbon layers. The electrolyte fills between the electrode protection layers. The polymer shells of each electrode protection layer are bonded to the surface of the corresponding electrode by first and second functional groups. The first functional groups include thiol groups. The second functional groups include epoxy groups or carboxylic groups. The electrode protection layers serve as adhesion layers between the active carbon layers and the electrodes, and protect the electrodes from being corroded by the acid electrolyte solution.

Capacitor and manufacturing method thereof

Organometallic reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer reagents (RAFT reagents), processes of free radical polymerization employing the same and polymers with low polydispersity index obtained thereby. The process includes polymerizing at least one monomer with at least one initiator and at least one organometallic RAFT reagent to obtain polymers having terminal organometallic functional groups with low polydispersity index. In addition, the terminal organometallic functional group may be removed by subjecting the obtained polymer to elimination to provide the corresponding organic polymers.

Chain transfer reagent, free radical polymerization employing the same and resulting polymers

A catalyst composition and process for preparing norbornene-type homopolymers or copolymers. The norbornene-type homopolymers or copolymers can be prepared using an in-situ catalyst composition including: (a) a transition metal compound of ML , wherein M is a Group 10 metal and L is a neutral electron donor ligand; (b) a hydrocarbyl halogen containing a double bond or a triple bond; and (c) a salt of a non or weakly coordinative anion that can replace a halogen bonded to a metal. The catalyst composition is in a mixing state of components (a), (b), and (c), or in a mixing state of a reaction product of components (a) and (b) together with component (c).
