A lamp assembly is provided herein. The lamp assembly includes a panel operably coupled with one or more projectors. A light source is disposed within each of the one or more projectors. An optical member is disposed between each of the light sources and the panel. An image interference is disposed between the optical member and an exterior surface of the panel.

Vehicle lamp assembly

An illumination system for a vehicle running board comprises at least one lighting module in connection with a step portion of the running board. The lighting module extends longitudinally along the running board proximate to at least one door of the vehicle. The lighting module comprises a first light source disposed in a first end portion of the lighting module and a second light source disposed in a second end portion of the lighting module. A waveguide forms an emission surface extending longitudinally along a side portion of the step portion. A controller is configured to activate the first light source illuminating the side portion in a first color and activate the second light source to illuminate the side portion in a second color.

An exemplary illuminating vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a lens having an outer perimeter, a diffuser beneath the lens, and a light source configured to emit light that passes through the diffuser to illuminate the lens. The light source is disposed outside the outer perimeter. An exemplary illumination method includes, among other things, transmitting light from a light source through a diffuser, and transmitting light from the diffuser through a lens. The light source is outside an outer perimeter of the lens.

A vehicle roof rack includes a first side-rail and a second side-rail. Each of the rails define a first groove and a second groove. The second is defined below the first groove. An exemplary indicating method for a vehicle includes producing a first lighting effect through a first region of a lens to indicate a first operating behavior of a vehicle. The first operating behavior is a braking of the vehicle. The indicating method further includes producing a second lighting effect through a second region of the lens to indicate a different, second operating behavior of the vehicle. The first region colored differently than the second region.
