The present invention relates to an interlabial pad that is worn by female wearers, placed in intimate contact and supported between the labia, which provides an interlabial pad that causes no discomfort to the female wearer in the body motions of the wearer. The interlabial pad of the present invention is characterized by having bending elements which allows the interlabial pad to follow the changes in form flexibly even when a force is exerted on the interlabial pad by the wearer's body motion.

Interlabial pad

An interlabial pad is provided that can be easily worn in the interlabial space. A wrapping body is provided that contains the interlabial pad. In the interlabial pad, a finger insertion cavity is formed along the longitudinal direction of a back side sheet between a mini-sheet piece and the side opposite to body on the back side sheet. An opening of the finger insertion cavity for inserting a finger leads to a finger insertion restriction portion which farther restricts the insertion of the finger.

Interlabial pad and wrapping body

An interlabial pad is provided which is capable of being precisely inserted into the recess between the wearer's labia minora, which does not have a linear shape. An interlabial padincludes a highly-compressed rigid region, which is highly resistant to being compressed, at a central region along the center line X-X' in the longitudinal direction. When the interlabial pad is worn, the highly-compressed rigid regionprotrudes, thereby allowing the wearer to fit the protruding highly-compressed rigid regionin the recess between the labia.

An interlabial pad individual wrapping container is presented which facilitates sanitary application and removal of an interlabial pad between the labia of a wearer. The interlabial individual wrapping container can be used as a preferred handling member at the time of application or removal of the interlabial pad. Two fingers of the left hand are inserted in finger insertion openings formed from a belt body attached on the wrapping container, the wrapping container is separated into the sections along a separation part by opening these fingers to the left and right, and in this state, the action for applying the interlabial pad held on a finger of the right hand is performed.

The present invention concerns an interlabial pad easy to wear between the labia and provides an interlabial pad of a structure allowing to wear between the labia of a woman easily and appropriately. A mini sheet piece () is attached to the opposite side to the body side of the an interlabial pad () for constituting a pocket () for finger insertion and, at the same time, the shape of a finger insertion opening () constituting the entrance of the pocket () is made flat in the planar direction of the sheet so that the boll of the finger can be inserted naturally in contact with the face of the sheet. In addition, the finger insertion opening () is made to guide to a finger application point () appropriate for feeling for a wearing point in between the labia.

An interlabial pad can maintain a state of constant contact with the inner walls of the labia and prevent leakage and falling away, regardless of changes in the position of the wearer. According to an interlabial pad having a pair of strip-shaped areas extending toward the side-edges along the center axis from the center axis and a low flexural rigidity part in the region including at least the side-edge out of the strip-shaped area, a state of constant contact with the inner walls of the labia can be maintained and leakage and falling away can be prevented, regardless of changes in position of the wearer.

An interlabial pad fits a vaginal opening and a vestibule floor without a gap with the vaginal opening or the vestibule floor. The pad prevents leakage of menstrual blood from a gap and prevents dropping out of the pad when the pad is worn between labia. The interlabial pad is provided with an absorbent body for absorbing and holding body fluid, has a central axis, and is worn with at least one portion held by labia minora, between the labia, so that at least one portion close to the central axis when worn touches the vestibule floor inside the labia of the wearer, and is also provided with a rear portion low compression rigidity structure, so that a rear portion that is positioned to the rear of the wearer and, when worn, touches the body of the wearer first, has low compression rigidity in comparison to a front portion positioned to the front.

The present invention relates to an interlabial pad that is worn by female wearers, placed in intimate contact and supported between the labia, which provides an interlabial pad that gives no discomfort to the female wearer in the body motions of the wearer. The interlabial pad of the present invention is characterized by having a structure and/or shape which allows the pad to make right and left phase shifts easily, even when a shearing force is exerted on the interlabial pad by the wearer's body motion, that is, a structure and/or shape which reduces the friction.

In an inter-labia pad comprising an absorbing body for absorbing bodily fluid and a cover material for covering the absorbing body, the cover material has a human body-side face that faces the labia of a wearer and an absorbing body-side face that faces the absorbing body. The absorbing body includes a labia-following layer and a bodily liquid-storing layer. The labia-following layer, together with the cover material, deforms in accordance with the shape of the wearer's labia, and the bodily liquid storing-layer is in contact with the labia-following layer so that bodily liquid can move from the labia-following layer to the liquid-storing layer. The pad can be reliably fit to subtle shapes of the wearer's urethral opening, private parts, etc.; therefore the pad provides excellent appearance, and prevents bodily liquid from leaking without giving the wearer sense of discomfort.

An inter-labium product capable of disintegration in water, fitted to the inter-labium part; and a surface-side sheet for inter-labium product that simultaneously realizes comfortability at wearing of the inter-labium product and capability of water disintegration such that the inter-labium product is disintegrated when thrown in flush water of water closet after use. The surface-side sheet for use in an inter-labium product fitted to the inter-labium part is comprised of hydrophilic fibers composed of single fibers and fibril fibers having fuzzes branched from the surface thereof, wherein at least some of the branched fuzzes link the single fibers and the fibril fibers to each other. Thus, not only can the wet tensile strength be increased but also inter-fibrous bonds are slowly decomposed in the presence of a large amount of water to thereby enable disposal of the inter-labium product in a flush toilet. Furthermore, since no resin is used, the inter-labium product is free from resin leaching to thereby avoid problems, such as itching and skin roughness, caused by the resin leaching.

An interlabial pad to be fitted to the labia providing an interlabial pad with flap portions that can maintain the retention state in the interlabial space irrespective of the quantity of body fluid discharge such as menstrual blood. A mini-sheet piece () is attached to the opposite side face to the body side face () of the interlabial pad () in such a way that a pad of it protrudes from both side edges of the interlabial pad () forming flap portions (A) and (B). Adhesives (A) and (B) are applied to the body side face of the flap portions (A) and (B). The interlabial pad () is retained in the interlabial space and the flap portions (A) and (B) are affixed to the surface of the labia majora to fit the interlabial pad with the flap portions ().

Disclosed is an absorbent article including: a liquid permeable surface layer; a backing sheet; and an absorbent layer interposed between the surface layer and the backing sheet. The surface layer includes: a porous film having a plurality of through holes; and a fibrous layer disposed on the liquid-receiving face of the porous film. The fibrous layer is of a plurality of strips extending in parallel and spaced apart from each other. Each strip of the fibrous layer is fixed to the porous film at spaced fixing portions, so that the porous film is exposed between adjacent strips of the fibrous layer.

The surface layer includes a liquid permeable base and a layer of continuous filaments extending substantially in one direction and disposed on the surface of the base.
