Display device and head-up display

Provided is a display device having high display quality. The head-up display devicecomprises: a single display unit that outputs display light; an imaging position adjustment mirror that generates display light and display light upon receiving the display light, and sets a distance from the imaging position adjustment mirror to the position at which an image is formed by the display light to be longer than the distance from the imaging position adjustment mirror to the position at which an image is formed by the display light; a first screen disposed at the imaging position of the display light; and a second screen disposed at the imaging position of the display light. The light distribution angle of the second screen is set to be larger than the light distribution angle of the first screen.

Head-up display device with uniform brightness

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compact and low-cost head-up display device capable of creating a sense of depth in a virtual image. This head-up display device includes a light-emitting device, a reflecting mirror, and a screen. The reflecting mirror includes two reflecting surfaces that are a first reflecting surface having a flat shape and a second reflecting surface having a curved shape. The screen is composed of a first screen through which the light reflected from the first reflecting surface passes, and a second screen through which the light reflected from the second reflecting surface passes. The first screen and the second screen are disposed so that the length of a first optical path in which the light emitted from the light-emitting device reaches the first screen is different from the length of a second optical path in which the light emitted from the light-emitting device reaches the second screen.

Head-up display device

The present invention is compact and inexpensive, has good light efficiency, and enables a display image having a plurality of display distances to be displayed. A display emits projection light for displaying a display image at a predetermined position, and an image formation position adjusting mirror receives the projection light emitted from the display, performs conversion into a plurality of first projection light and second projection light that have different image formation distances by changing the image formation distance of the projection light that is at least part of the incident projection light, and reflects the first projection light and the second projection light to project the first projection light and the second projection light onto a first screen and a second screen.
