A ground bus subassembly provided at a top (e.g., top front) of a power distribution cabinet section. The ground bus subassembly includes a first upper front frame plate, and a first ground bus section adjacent to the first upper front frame plate. A splice can attach to the first ground bus section. A ground cover covering the first ground bus section can function as a hoist rail. Ground bus subassemblies with first and second cabinet sections and first and second ground bus sections are provided, as are methods of assembly of ground bus subassemblies.

A circuit interconnect attaching apparatus is disclosed. The circuit interconnect attaching apparatus has a body adapted to couple to a circuit interconnect device, the body having a first end and a second end, one or more frame connector coupled to the first end of the body, at least one tab portion positioned on an outer surface of the second end of the body, wherein the at least one tab portion for accepting at least one fastener member, and one or more bus connector configured to connect to or disconnect from one or more bus bar that is responsive to rotation of the circuit interconnect device. The circuit interconnect device racking apparatus has a body adapted to couple to a circuit interconnect device, one or more frame connectors coupled to the body, a racking lever coupled to the body by a lever pivot, the racking lever having a cam mechanism component, and one or more bus connectors configured to connect to or disconnect from one or more bus bars responsive to rotation of the racking lever. Circuit interconnect device racking apparatus, racking assemblies, and methods of connecting circuit interconnect devices

A power distribution apparatus for distributing electrical power includes circuit breaker modules and remote operated devices mounted separately in a panel. The devices may be relays, circuit breakers, meters, dimmers or other devices for controlling a circuit. An I/O controller board is connected to the remote operated devices and controls those devices through a data rail. A control module may interface with the I/O controller board and may also interface with other I/O controller boards and with one or more networks. The I/O controller board is mounted in the subfeed breaker region of the panelboard, at an end of the panelboard opposite the main breaker region. The controller board may include connection and status features that are accessible through the deadfront.
